does readyxwick really suck or am I using it wrong?

I bought 2 feet if readyxwick and figured since it appears to be indestructible there would be no way I could get that burnt flavor while using it. So I ran my vape at 20 watts and tried using it. Also I made sure to wet the wick before using it. Well not even an hour into use it starts to taste burnt occasionally like burnt cotton. I thought this stuff was supposed to be made of ceramics which is basically clay. So has any one else tried doing this? Also I don't think the size is right because I ordered 3 mm and I rolled a 3 mm coil and it still slides around like there is no friction and it doesn't look like it is filling the gap completely. So in summary why does this indestructible wick taste burnt at all no matter what heat is on it?

You are getting hot spots due to the fact that there isn't any compression on your wick. For 3mm wick, you need around 2.5mm or so coil, then do the wick by cutting a 45 degree on it and threading it into your coil. That's one of several ways, but it's easy to see what your problem is. Shrink your coil and it'll work much better. There's a thread here, but I am on my cellphone and don't have access to it, dedicated to RxW. Keep trying:).
