I'm debating on getting some to clean my dripping RBAs when they get gunked up. I'm lazy and would rather stick them in a cup and let the cleaner do its thing than rebuild another coil. I have no question about safety considering it's made for something you stick in your mouth. I wonder if the cleaner will leave a taste, like mint. I don't have dentures so I don't know the deal.

IME it is not worth the trouble. I use mostly Rebuildables and Clearlos though. I just soak in alcohol rinse and dry burn the atty and that seems to be enough. I suppose if it had a bad build up I would but so far I have not needed to. I still have all my original Vivi nova heads and they work fine so I must be doing something right. LOL

Good points. I use the vivi novas and rebuild them as well. I've just been washing them in the sink like Pbusardo's Italian self. I think the bubbles on the commercial excited me for some odd reason.

I use the denture cleaner and it works just fine, it leaves no aftertaste and its fairly cheap. i would use PGA but would rather drink everclear and vodka lol.
Seriously though it works, I think its good for some people who dont drink maybe?
There are so many different ways to clean atties. Everyone has their own favs.

I got one of those fancy toothbrush deals but just going to use it on my teeth for now heh, maybe I'll buy a head just for atties. I got my phoenix soaking in some isopropyl. The wick is all black I'm seeing if it'll clean it up some.

that's exactly what I did, wait until your toothbrush head wears out, buy new one for your teeth, use the old one for vape stuff. cheers.

To those that say it works, how do you know it works?

Has anyone taken a coil that they can clearly see and visually verify is gunked up with baked-on crap...
Then cleaned it using any method other than dry burning, which HAS already been verified to work...
And then verified that all of the baked-on gunk is gone and the coil is as clean as a new one?

I have. I have taken a nova head that I have soaked in vodka. Still gunked up, wicks look brown.
Same head, boiling water and denture cleaner. Wicks are white, coil looks better (I can actually see the wire now) and dark particles in the bottom of the cup I used. A dry burn and it almost looks good as brand new.

I did this experiment because it was brought up in anther thread that I frequent. I just had to see for myself. :)

But then again, the vodka soak may have loosened up the gunk for the denture cleaner to work better?
