When I vape this (the atty with the delrin drip tip) The bottom of my tounge starts to hurt when I suck in vapor, and the bridge in my mouth starts to get sore. When I put a drip shield on and vape on it (My own fault here for doing it since it isnt meant to fit in a drip shield) it hurts the bridge in my mouth so much, that I literally have to stop vaping on the I06 for several days. And because of that I can only vape the I06 for a limited amount of time or as a"special treat"

I really enjoy the narrow drip tip, because I can feel the flow of the vapor, but I think this is where the process becomes painful for me. Does anyone else get the same thing I get?

Hmmmm... First I have heard this. Unfortunately I dont know why or have any advice, maybe vape or pull a bit easier ??

LOVE my i06's, and if you feel you cant get through it, let me know. Maybe I can help you re-coup some of what you spent. Although I would MUCH rather you figure it out and continue to utilize the best atty available.

Warlike36, how long have you been vaping for? During my first month of vaping and without analogs, my mouth, throat and lungs went through a number of changes/weird phases. I would occasionally lose my taste for any e-liquid, my mouth and throat would get super dry, and my voice would get kind of raspy. Once or twice after heavy vaping and not staying hydrated enough, my gums and the roof of my mouth would feel sore or swollen/tight. I think it was partially because my body was going through the changes of getting off the analogs, and because I wasn't staying hydrated enough. Eventually it went away, although if I have a really heavy night of vaping without much hydration, my throat and mouth will still get tight and a little sore.

I haven't had any problems with the i06s, and currently, they are my favorite atomizers.

I kind of agree with all the previous posts. I haven't heard of this but we are all unique and different things cause different reactions on us all. I have a tingling feeling in my mouth when I vape right after eating but it's not just with the I06, it happens with anything I vape. Sorry I couldn't be more help. Maybe you should check out this forum, Health, Safety and E-Smoking.

Where do you get your e-juice?

What flavor are you vaping?

What is the PG/VG ratio?

What is the nic strength.

I'm thinking its more than likely your juice causing the problem more than the atty.

TT
... and what voltage are you vaping at? My morning post of the latter went to the computer cosmos :(

Well I myself have been vaping for 10 months, and vape a good ammount a day, so I don't think that is the issue.

I get my e-juice everywhere, half of it is DIY.

The PG/VG mix ranges from 70/30 to 60/40

The nic strength is 0mg.

I would think it is the juices, however, it happens with 100% of the juices that I vape out of it.

I really dont think it is the i06 specifically that is causing the problem, it is the fact I am putting something so narrow in my mouth and using my mouth muscles to pull in vapor. This leads me to believe that I couldnt vape 306's either because I would be getting the same problem.

Co-indidentally, just yesterday I noticed a dry, almost minor chapped feeling, on the inside of my lower lip where I usually plug in my PV to my mouth. It stays there almost non-stop from the time I get up, 'till bedtime. I just started dripping, basically exclusive as I really-really like the IO6, in early December. I'm using the same juice's and same amount of vaping, justing doing it differently the last couple month's.

I kind of figure, since the IO6 Silhouette tip can get quite warm, that's likely the reason for it. So I just switched to the other side of my mouth, to give that spot a rest. :vapor:

It is hurting my mouth to "suck in". The actual movement of my mouth muscles causes pain. It is probably the fact I am just fitting something and inhaling from something so narrow that it hurts my mouth. It is probably just a personal problem I have with the individual structure with my mouth. I havent vaped out of a 306 atty, but I would assume the same would happen.

When I switched to the i06, it was very apparent that I was getting a ton more nicotine than I was with my other attys/cartos. I'd imagine the same thing is happening to you, except you don't notice it because you're using 0 nic.

What I'm trying to say is that you may have some sort of reaction to whatever juices you're using (PG, VG, certain flavors, who knows..), and the i06 works so well that you're getting more of that into your mouth quicker (and possibly more often) than you were with other atomizers.
