Does the pg/vg ratio affect flavor?

I ordered the 50/50 from Mt. Baker. What do you mean by steeping? Is that like letting wine age? How long should it steep before using it?

Yes flavor is effected. I find high VG provides a smoother, less harsh vape. I found high PG to harsh for me, now I mix at 70-80% VG. Finding one's preferred ratio is one of the most frustrating things about vape. I'll bump up my flavor percentage to increase flavor when necessary. Will mix at 9-14% flavor extract, depending on the recipe.

It may be just me but PG seems to add something of it's own to a flavor. Not good or bad just is. The higher vg blends taste more natural but muted. I add extra flavoring for VG heavy blends.

I started out with a 30/70 split in the beginning, but found my best ratio is 50/50. Experiment and you will find what you like.

Yes; steeping is like letting wine age.

Steeping time varies from a few days to a few weeks depending on the complexity of the flavors.
When you order eliquid made to order where they mix if for you on the spot, you need to give it time to steep before use.
When you get your Mt Baker stuff, I think you will see on the label a "Born On" date; I think that is the time the liquid was mixed.
