Hi,
So many times I try out the sample in the local B&M stores and they taste exactly like something I'd love to vape on all day long. Then I get home and I put the newly purchased eliquid into my freshly cleaned Nautilus or AeroTank mega with a brand new coil right out of the package and BAM... While it tastes similar to what I tested in the store, there is still something strange tasting about it.

I usually am vaping either a 12mg or 18mg nicotine liquid depending on my nicotine cravings so that's generally what I buy in the stores.

The only thing I can think of is that either the nicotine level of what the store has out on sample is 0% nicotine or a very low nicotine level or somehow my atomizer is not as clean as I think it is and is imparting the old liquid flavor that I was vaping before into the new liquid. I've gone so far as to soak all the parts of my tanks (minus the coils since I use a new coil when ever I buy a new liquid) into a small Tupperware container of vodka (just enough to cover all items) and let them soak overnight and then rinse the next day with the hottest water possible out of the tap here at home, but even still, almost every time, if not *every* time, the flavor seems different between what I test in the store and when I get home and vape it on my own equipment.

Most recently I tested the Space Jam's "Pluto" and in the store I absolutely loved it, it had hints of bubblegum and honeydew melon. Now I got it home and put it into my own equipment and while the honeydew melon flavor was still there, it was completely missing the bubblegum flavor entirely and now had major floral tones to the overall flavor (I really dislike floral types of flavors by the way).

So, I'm stumped on what might be causing this besides either the nicotine is imparting some kind of flavor shift to the liquids and the sample in the store is either 0 nic or really low, or I thought maybe it's because I'm using either my MVP2 on 9.5 watts or my Stingray x mod and all the stores that I've been into use the egotwist batteries (unknown voltage as I've never thought to look) so I grabbed my wifes Joyetech egotwist and gave that a try from the lowest voltage up to the highest but I still couldn't get the flavor that was in the stores sample.

So a great long story and info just to ask...

Is it possible that the level of nicotine can change the flavor?

Nicotine does change the flavor but mostly the clearomizer changes the output of flavors in a juice. I have the same juice set up in 3 different Kayfun versions, 2 nautilus's ( one with a BVC, one with a BVD) and a dripper, each one taste different. The juice comes from the same bottle at 6mg/ml of nic, 50pg/50vg.

It could be the different coils.
