Does the word Vape mean e-cigs?

Greetings from Sharm!
Thanks a lot for the advice
I saw some videos on YouTube explaining how to rebuild the ready made coils.

People here are still struggling to get the vapes, liquids and other stuff because importing vaping stuff is still not allowed!
I make my own DIY liquid.

If you go with rebuilding the coils, some advice:

Most of this would be as you saw it those videos, but they lack some details (I found).

Making the coils is actually easy, the hardest part is getting the coil with the cotton around it inside the cartridge.. but the best way is to have something like a nail or screwdriver inside the coil, your wrap your cotton around it tight, and slide it is, then turn it a bit to unroll the cotton just enough to hold it in space and cover the holes.

I've been using 28 gauge, NI200 (and use the temp. control).. I measure my wire to about 24 cm, so about 16-17 rolls using a nail of about 3.3 - 3.5 diameter, and that gives me 0.2 Ohms.

The cotton, I use Japanese organic pads, cut it the width needed but important, to cut on the width so to have the "grain" of the cotton right. then remove about 3/4 of a cm at the end, separate it in two (and now you have 2 wicks ready), use the "cloth" side against the coil, leaving the fluffy side on the outside, and that's been the "just right" amount... more and it's very hard to get it in, less and too much liquid gets through. The important part of cutting with the "grain" is that otherwise, it wicks too much.

Then get it in, make sure that the cotton is properly set at the intake holes and put it together, snip the extra wire and test using your mod to ensure it's reading correctly. (do NOT trigger, just press to get the readings)... once all is fine, then prime and enjoy!

Thanks a lot for your great advice.

I used to have a Subtank mini (I gave it away to a newbie yesterday) and used to rebuild the OCC coils. From your detailed explaination; I feel it would be similar.

I'll ask about the vaperasso coils.

Although that most of the guys here prefer the Japanese organic cotton; I'm using the Egyptian organic cotton ☺️ because it's so fluffy and so absorbent to liquid and of course because it's available unlike the Japanese cotton as Vape stores are not that much.

I tried some other cotton (called: cotton bacon) which is lose fine cotton, and it really did not work well... you should try to get the "pad" types, hopefully Egyptian cotton is available in this form, they work much better for the vertical coils as they hold their shape better, they can be cut in strips, and wrap around the coils much better than loose type does.
