Does this percentage sound right?

I wanted a choco/peppermint. I found a recipe on youtube, and decided to try it, rather than fiddling with my own. But it called for: 2 drops per mil mint, 7 drops per mil choco, 2 drops per mil menthol.

Am I understanding that right? If I wanted to make a 10ml bottle, I would use 20 drops of mint, 70 drops of peppermint, and 20 drops of menthol? If the drops do happen to equal 20 drops per mil, then that's an extra 5 ml worth of flavors. Does it sound right to have 33% flavoring added?

I like a strong mint, but is 33% going to kill me? It sounds lethal. lol

I measured out my large pipette, and it came to 30 drops per ml. My math sucks, so I'm not going to try to figure out what that actually adds up to in ml. But it's less than 33%.

Can anyone tell me what a typical range for multi flavorings might be? If say, you used 20% average of a single flavor, then would you still use 20% of 2 flavors? (as in 10% of flavor 1, 10% of flavor 2) or would those numbers probably be higher?

I've got a cold right now, and can't barely taste/smell a thing. I mixed up a small bottle, and husband says it smells just like a peppermint patty, but I can't smell it at all. Hoping it will taste ok when I get my taste back.

It may be right, for the person who posted it.

I see no issues with the mint or choco amounts, but that amount of what I use for menthol would leave me with a numb mouth.

Also, water is a bad indicator for the drop size of PG based flavoring, but that is neither here nor there. The usual tack to take with a recipe like this is to start a bit short of the flavoring amounts and check it to your tastes, cold and all, and slowly take it up to the amount. Off-the-cuff, I would say 75% of what this recipe calls for in flavoring and you taste it.

If it works for you while you have a cold, you would want to make a note of that as it might be a go-to mix for when you have sinus issues. The menthol may help your sinuses too?

I tried to taste it as is, but can't at the moment. I did a few samples of 10% flavoring of some stuff last night, and I currently have cherry stuck in my atty. LOL. 10% definately too much cherry. I've been trying to get rid of it with my beloved peppermint, but so far, no luck.

The menthol I have now is very mild. I discovered that too much, and it's lethal cough drop (though that might be a good thing right now!). So I have been using a really mellow version. My daily vape is dekang peppermint, but the last batch I got is absolutely horrid. I've been vaping just menthol while I waited for my PA peppermint to arrive so I can doctor up my dekang. I'm not about to dump the 250mls I have of dk peppermint. (can't believe it's so bad this time, seriously!) I did pretty good fixing up a small bottle so it actually tastes like peppermint. Wish I had written down how much flavor I used! *doh*

I'll also mix up a 75% batch later and see how that is.

Thanks for the help!
