OK, So I'm buying some flavors that recommend using say 6-8 drops of flavoring per 10 ml.
(Grrrrr...drops are twice the work and half the accuracy as far as I'm concerned)

I don't mix in drops so if 20 drops ( guessing that's the standard) = 1 ml. then 6-8 drops per 10ml. would approximate 3-6% flavoring.

Is this sound math?

Well...you kind of need to figure out your own standard for drops. I have some bottles that are 60 drops per ml, some that are 39 drops per ml, etc., and none that are 20 drops per ml. Milliliters and percentages won't change, just drops (from whatever bottle, dropper) per. From there it's easy to figure your percentages.

sounds like inawera ????? I tend to use more of the really concentrated flavors and mainly use drops these days. I make 5-30 ml batches this way. its easier to figure 1 drop than to measure point one ml and just as accurate in my mind. plus no clean up. If I am using a weaker flavor that needs like 10 percent of something Ill use a syringes and do it that way. you would have to know what the original poster considered the drops per ml was to convert to percents.

Yep, Just ordered a bunch of Inawera flavors and awaiting delivery...I just hate counting drops and tend to lose count, so prefer mls.
Guess I'll just have to try it out and may just need to count drops into a syringe until I find the right #.

lol I loose drop count sometimes and honestly there is no harm in it. you will more than likely get the same result. I did that last night. An extra drop of chocolate made its way into a mix. no biggie not like my juice will taste terrible now. I came to that decision trying to measure a mix with like 7 flavors and all of them needed point one ml ish and I had just a couple syringes and had to clean them every time and wonder if I got it clean enough or if I was contaminating or flavors lol. it became maddening to think about . I said to heck with all this I am not getting precise measurements that low anyways and took ten mins to mix a 6ml sample. I can bust out any amount in about 3 mins with little clean up from opening the cabinet and getting supplies to putting things away. yes I have timed myself. "OCD" one syringe for PG one for VG and one for nic. once I stopped worrying so much about perfect percents and stuff and started having more fun I ended up making better juices. I am different tho :vapor:
