Does vaping make you lazy?

lol ... Nah. I'm always cleaning something, or re-organizing things. Lazy was lighting a stinkie and not even remembering when I lit it.

I admit that I do enjoy vaping, but I make no qualms about it. I don't use it as a way to stop smoking. I use it as a healthier alternative to smoking. And finally ... finally after a year, my husband has decided to stop smoking as well. He tried vaping a couple of times before, but he never really took to it. Something about this time worked. He's now starting to steal my stuff. :p

I used to be a carpenter...and doing a lot of manual labor was an every day kinda thing and I was always in really good shape. The last 5 years I've had a job that does not require any heavy lifting or any gymnastics, so I'm not as strong as I once was. Today I went out and used the log-splitter and the chainsaw to process some firewood....and now I feel like I've just been run over by a truck! Getting old really sucks.

naw, you aren't getting old...it is the desk job that got you out of shape.

ya gotta find a way to get your wife vaping....hubby and i did it together....it really helps with both of us doing it. has she tried an ecig? she may need a cig a like...that is more likely something that is well, more like smoking.

how long have you been vaping?

I've been a lot lazier than I was when I was smoking, but it's hard to tell since I got a super bad flu/cold right before I started vaping 2 weeks ago, and now I discover I've managed to turn that into a sinus infection. I do know that it seems like all I'm doing is vaping or thinking about vaping...

I'm not sure if the laziness is because of the vaping or because of the being sick for a month...but the house is really needing a good cleanup!

I am much more productive now. I used to milk my cigarette breaks. I'd stop cleaning, step outside, light my cig, catch up on Words w Friends, etc.

Now my "cigarette break" consists of a few puffs off my PV while I'm cleaning.

If anything, ECF makes me lazy. When I'm on ECF, nothing gets done. :)

I would give ANYTHING if my hubby would take to vaping and start stealing my stuff! In fact, that's why I've grabbed at least two of most things and no batteries/mods in pink (outside of removable wraps). :D He even went to a local vape meet with me and saw that I wasn't the only "crazy person" in the world ... still nothing. He's taken puffs off mine, said it tastes good, and there's where it stops. I even told him he could get juices with enough nic to satisfy him (I vape 0mg) and he's just not having it. He always says he wants to quit, but so far hasn't. I don't nag him because that would be the fastest way to turn him off completely, but I just keep hoping. He doesn't mind at all to go to B&Ms or meets with me, and he's not against it, he just says it isn't for him. Maybe one day.

I have been alot more active since vaping. I think smoking made me lazy :s

^^^This. Totally me. Even though I had already quit smoking before I found vaping, I always felt like a smoker because I still wanted them. Once I found vaping, I felt like I was free. I could have my habit, it was a tastier one, and it was a lot healthier than my old habit. I don't know why, but it inspired me to be more active. I started walking again and hiking some mountain trails and exercising more. Have NO idea why other than maybe I feel like I can "have it all" now?

I would not say lazy, but I do spend time dedicated to equipment, cleaning tossing that, or mixing juice (waffles with a bit of strawberry and cream anybody?) that I did not do before. However, I do more while vaping so I get more done. If we stop to smoke that's about five minutes a pop, that's a lot of time wasted.

I've been at it since 3/3/13......(easy to remember...:) She took all of two short puffs, which did nothing as you can imagine, and that was the end of her interest in it. I have no idea why she doesn't seem at all interested in giving it a more serious attempt....she saw how easy it was for me...and she knows how much of a hard-core smoker I was....I'm clueless as to what to do next.

Same thing with my other half...I think the only reason is that he's stubborn and it has to be "his" idea or he won't do it. Funny thing is that several years ago, he quit cold turkey for 18 months and I was the one who didn't want to. So? I'll just let him do what he will and hopefully he'll come around one day.
