I would like to say that it will, but I couldn't find any documentation that it can.
AA, AAA, and C rechargeable
batteries are a different chemistry (
Ni-MH or
Ni-Cd) than Li-ion
batteries (
cobalt ICR and
manganese IMR).
I found that the
Xtar VP2 can charge both LiFePO4 and Li-ion
batteries; no mention of Ni-Mh or Ni-Cd batteries.
I found some chargers which specifically state that they can charge both NiMH and Li-ion batteries.
Thrunite MCC-4 Charger Li-Ion, Nimh.
I also found chargers which specifically state that they can charge Li-ion, Ni-MH, and Ni-Cd.
