Awe man!! Delrin end caps? I'm looking to get a BP for my wife. Was this part of the $!!@## redesign for ECF ????? Are the original BPs still available?????? (I'll go look)

The unscarred BPs are available, and you can ask for an all metal cap in the comments section on your order. I have the all metal end caps on both of mine.

I used to like all metal caps until I had an M1A1 melt of the top of my Buzz Pro while it was not being used. I like the added on-off security of the other cap and use it all the time.

I guess I've been lucky because the on/off feature works on both of mine with the all metal bottom caps. I use it more than I used to, and even turn them off before I go to sleep now.

Hey 5C. Just wondering how it would have helped to have the delrin cap?? It would have melted the cap instead of the tank? And/or shut off?

I still like metal (jerry proof!) Just curious.

I semi melted a drip tip in my pants pocket once. But quickly learned to turn off my BP when in a pants pocket for an extended time.

Pizza, the reason we started using the metal with the delrin threads is because a lot of the all metal caps weren't working correctly as a master on/off switch. It would have helped 5C to be able to turn it off

I never had any problems with my all metal ones, but lots of people didn't have that sweet spot for the "off" to work.
