Does your provari give you error codes when you put a new carto on?

I don't know why my Provari gives me different error codes every time I change the carto in my tank. Usually after I check the atty ohms it stops. Am I the only one with a naughty Provari or is this common? I have only had it for 3 weeks and I don't know if this is something wrong with it or just normal for it checking out the new cartos

I recently got a batch of boge 3.0 that this has happened to me with. First try i get E1. I check the ohms. It skips from 1.5 to 3.1. 4 of these cartos has died within 3 days. So i blame a bad batch of cartos here. As trying to run 5.5 volts on 1.5 ohms will give a error code. Can this be because the carto's need to be "run" first before the provari can measure the correct ohms? Feels like the carto is so fresh and not worn at all so the provari gets over the watt limit.

It could also be that your carto isn't wet enough. I condom fill my cartos so I'm sure that the coil is wet and then check it's ohms on the provari.. I've got one or two that wasn't right.. then, if the carto reads the right resistance, I put it in a tank. I've also got to where I use a multimeter to check the carto before I even fill it the first time. I use the AO feature a lot to keep check on my cartos while in use. I had a few of the resurrectors that would go up and up in resistance as I used them. I love the error code feature.. it tells me when something is wrong and what it is. I've occasionally (when I first got it) gotten an error code when an atty that I was dripping on got too dry or a carto that wasn't in a tank got too dry. I rarely if ever see an error code now, especially since I upgraded to V2.
