I just aquired a doge v2. It's my first rda recently. Previously I had a patriot and an omega. Never really cared for them. Air flow was to restricted. My question is any recommended builds ? Currently using twisted 28g dual coil about 6 wraps on 2.4mm reading .3 ohms which is what I was aiming for. vaping at 62 watts. Flavor is the best I've had so far. And some nice clouds. Looking for builds for both. Improved flavor and more clouds. depending on my mood. So tips for both. Also enjoying dripping so any recommendation on other rda's. I'm using a sigelei 150 if that matters. Here's a couple pics. ...

I dont do anything fancy. Typically i do 26 gauge at .3 ohms.
Recenty rebuilt it for .5 and iim like the increased battery life but will probably go back to my usual build for more clouds.

Edit: i should add. 26 gauge .3ohm duel coils at 50 watts to 75 depending on the juice to be specific

This is exactly the build I run (however its the Tobeco Doge v4, I think its a clone of the v2) and I have been loving it at around 45-55 watts.

I love my Oni 150W, hope you are too!

I don't have that particular RDA but I like to use 24 ga at about 7-9 wraps each, gets me about 0.5 - 0.4 (depending on how close I squeeze them together) and I love that! Nice long pulls before getting too hot.
You could try a (I think people call it a paralell wrap) dual wrap of your 26 ga instead of just one, that should give you more surface area. If you haven't, you should definitely check out Coil wrapping | Steam Engine | free vaping calculators for future builds! Really helps with knowing how much heat capacity your build can handle (among other things).

Been using mine with 24g SS 316l wire, dual parallel, 5/10 wraps on 2.4 mm @ 0.079 on my triple parallel 18650 box. On my O.G. Sig 100w I was running 23 g kanthal, dual coil, 15 wraps on 2.4 mm @ 0.653. Generally using between 68 and 82 watts.

In my opinion the doge v2 is one of the best rdas currently available, I haven't tried a build or wattage setting I didn't like(18.2 watts on a 1.7 single build was rocking).

Yeah loving the 150. I have been doing the parallel build on my sub tank mini. Currently got a twisted 28g in the doge. And love the steam engine.

I only have a 50 watt device and I am fairly new to rebuilding but I have been using it as a canvas to learn on so to speak. If you like single coil builds, (I do because I like flavor, and hate spit back and juice in my mouth) I have built some 1 ohm coils with around 7 wraps maybe 6, and the flavor with organic cotton is phenomenal. Clouds are plenty for me, my woman doesn't like wafting through a foggy apartment all night anyway (still plenty foggy). But I dont know if the original has the same screws as the Tobeco or bot but they stink. The copper is so soft I am really careful when screwing them down because they will strip easily. I dont want to inhale copper dust although I did see some when I cleaned it after my first build. I really want to replace the screws with SS but I would have to find the perfect size. I believe the authentic comes with them on the side, Tobeco clone did not. Overall I think this RDA is great for pretty much anything you throw at it, I would just watch out for spitback on a super low ohm build like .1 or something.
