Doing something wrong?

This is my first attempt at DIY and I may be doing something wrong.

I am using Perfumers Apprentice Cherry Flavor and Peach Flavor.
I ordered Food Grade PG from Chemicals Direct.

I have not received my Nic juice yet so I decided to try some no nic juice first.
Added 9ml of PG to 1ml of Cherry into a new plastic dropper bottle.
Same deal for the other flavor, Peach.
Both juices have a soapy taste to me. What's the deal?

What's your PG without flavor taste like.

I tried this since you asked. It seems to have little to no taste at all.
I'm guessing then the soapy flavor is coming from the PA flavors. I thought at first I ordered the wrong flavoring and got some kind of soap purfume but I've never heard of "Peach Flavored" soap!
Should I call them or could this be something else?

Maybe. I would try to let the bottle sit open for a few hours then cap it and give it a hot water bath. vape it in the morning.

If that does not clear the soap flavor out, then, yes, give PA a call and see what is going on.

I usually mix her stuff a bit stronger and have never had a soapy flavor.

When you tasted the PG did you vape it without adding any flavoring as well? Might not taste soapy but could vape soapy.

Yes, I vaped the PG with no flavor and it tasted like nothing at all. Also, mixed the Cherry and Peach with 100 percent VG and had the same weird taste. Then I mix some PA Cinnamon RedHot flavor with the same PG and it tasted fine. I'm guessing there's something going no with these 2 flavors. I'll be calling PA on Monday to see if they can help.

It's possible that the bottles had some detergent residue in them. Seems like I recall some Ecopure juice sold last year that had a nasty off taste, and they traced it back to residue in the small bottles it was packaged in.

I ordered the bottles from PA at the same time as the flavoring. Thanks for the heads up Max. I'll clean these bottles out before I give it another try!
