As of now I am done buying clones. My first mech mod purchase was the blackhawk panzer clone with a trident rda. Both are ....! Trident V2 clone has all kinds of problems with posts, and the blackhawk threads catch every .......ing time! Not to mention the well known voltage drop. At this point the trident was useless. So I ordered the TOBH Atty. Love it! Well machined piece of art. Works beautifully and easy to build on. Last week a coworker bought a panzer clone with an atomic rda clone (from the same B&M). He gave up on building after 5 days and so he traded me his panzer, atomic rda, sony vtc5, and charger for EVOD starter kit. I made out like a bandit, I thought. The panzer is better than the blackhawk, but the atomic is already broken. I mean BROKEN!!! I don't know how this guy can stay in business selling this garbage. Both RDA's were less than a month old before completely breaking. Even with the broken rda I still made out on top of the trade, but I learned one valuable lesson when it comes to vaping. NEVER BUY A CLONE AGAIN!

I have a wife and four kids so I am lucky if I can even afford a clone. The quality has been a little hit and miss on a few I've had and some require a little tweaking but all have served me well. The best I can suggest is to buy from a store or website that offers a solid warranty then try your best to break it while still under warranty. The reviews of clones on this forum can also save you a lot of trouble in the long run. Best of wishes to the OP and I hope you can share pictures of the 'real deal' with people like me who can't afford them.

To bad those Clones were not in more skilled hands. Haven't had a Clone MOD or Dripper/Tank I could not make perform yet.

NO Orphan Clones!!

Send all Orphaned/abandoned Clones my way. I am willing to provide Room and board for performance. Mechanical care also included:D

I think we should try to help jbish86 first before insulting him and offering to take his equipment. If helping him doesn't work I'd be happy to take his clones as well but doubt an insult would make it easy for him to hand them over. :)

Part of buying clones doing research as to which manufacturer makes a good version. Not suggesting you didn't but you increase your chances of a good piece when you do. I have a real KFL+ but I have 6 EHPPRO clones of the same. All have been great but my TOBECO version was crap. I just got in an EHPRO TOBH atty and it's been great.

Skilled hands? It doesn't take a genius to wrap a coil ........

The TOBH is just a straight up good design, whether it's a clone or not. I bought the TOBH because it solved all the issues I had with my other RDA's.

Been 100% happy with mine. I bought my trident off ebay for $30 and its perfect, posts line up and it hits great. My m16 and astro brass mods are great as well.

Even if they didnt I know its the luck of the draw with clones.

The ground post on my trident turns when I tighten it up, even slightly. And the positive cap threads don't catch evenly. The slit in the center post isn't too big to fit 2 26awg leads. I have it set up now but don't look forward to rebuilding it any time soon. Too much of a pain in my ....

I have some authentic and some clones and one each of the magma and you can't tell them apart. I've had good luck with my clones and like them as much as my authentic pieces. The only problem I have had so far was with an authentic,, it had a loose positive post and when I tighten it the post cracked. Now I use the cap on a clone.

Not an insult. I have been working with my hands all my life and fix more than I replace. I'm also 60 and it took a lot of learning to reach this point. I'd be more than happy to assist and quite often do......................When someone post a request for assistance.

Somehow I just didn't read that concern in the opening post.
