I picked up a couple of kanger T3's because they came highly recommended. All I can say is wow, they are not good.
Gurgles, low amounts of vapor, and you get e-liquid in your mouth when you draw. I have tried pretty much everything to get more vapor and stop the flooding.

I dont know what you all are raving about but compared to my vivi nova its night and day.

Am I doing something wrong because these things suck and I am ready to toss them both.

Sorry for all the hate. :)

there is a new development saying that there are some bad knockoffs floating around and they do not match the performance of the real ones. PBusardo talked about this the other day.
when I used clearos the kangers rocked. i would not know now.

I am not going to try and defend the kanger T3, as i have both the kanger T3 and the vivi nova 2.5 I prefer the kanger over the vivi.. i have yet to have the gurgling sound, or e-juice flooding that you are talking about.. That sucks that you are having those issues. While the Kanger T3 is not my favorite it still has been fairly solid for me.

People PLEASE stop referring to the genuine vs. knockoff/clone arguement when clearly there's a design flaw (same flooding issues reported from both type of sources). T3 relies on gravity and the negative pressure buildup in the main chamber created by suction to draw the eliquid to the wick/coil. If there's too much gap in the wick slit, it'll draw the eliquid faster which leads to massive flooding, but too much wick will pinch the wick leading to dry hit/muted flavor. If this wasn't enough, the viscosity of the eliquid is also a factor in determine the flow; i.e. high PG% flows better and tends to cause flooding when compared to high VG% eliquids. Some manufacturers tries to band-aid the issue by increasing the air hole from 2 to 3 to reduce the inner chamber pressure, the result is hit and miss in solving the flooding issue but this leads to an airier draw. While some have luck with the stock wick/coil when vaping with their preferred eliquids, the results may differ significantly based on the inconsistency of the wicking material, number of air holes, the strength of draw from the mouth piece, and the type of eliquid you're using.

How to remedy the flooding issue? (1)place additional "flavor wick" to plug the wick slit and reduce the flow of eliquid or (2)if the head only have 2 air holes, try drilling an additional air hole (3)rebuild the head altogether (use more wicking material). However, finding the right amount of wick material to prevent flooding/dry hit does takes some trial and error.

Some member mention that the leakage may due to the silicon grommet not creating a seal. The best way to test this is to inject a small volume of eliquid enough for wicking but doesn't reach the seal and see if it floods. If it doesn't flood then it's the grommet, if it does then it's either the silicon grommet or a combination of all the different factors mentioned above.

The bottom line, like most finicky POS made from China, don't get it if you're not willing to take time to understand how it works and learn to troubleshoot it. If you don't want to deal with the hassle and inconsistency of these then you're probably better off with a carto+tank setup and hope no more occurrence of similar incidents of Bogegate in the near future...

I love my 2-T3s, with this one word of advice-
Slow down your draw a little.
It takes a little time between hits to resaturate the wick and if you draw too hard, you are pulling liquid into the atomized faster that it can vaporize it-thus liquid in your mouth. Not a fault of the unit- misuse.
else- do as Cedric says: get some carts or a tank, and a VV

Best to You!

I've had 3 T3's and I have to admit that they are a bit finicky in terms of wicking. Too much wick and they get choked, too little and they flood. I've only rewicked with cotton, which adds the expansion variable making it even trickier. When I get the wick right, they work very well for me. With two of them, the stock wicks only worked well when removing one flavor wick. One of them I put in a cotton wick before its first use.

I think they are really close to a perfect clearomizer design, certainly going in the right direction, but something like a Vivi is currently the best with the one annoyance being the need to swirl them when they get low on juice.

I won't buy another T3 (or replacement heads) and will wait for the next iteration of the bottom coil design. Until then I will favor the Mini Vivi. It would be cool to try a carto tank but I hate dealing with polyfill and the non-rebuildability.

I have all of the same problems with the T3, and I've even flipped that seal, and then even tried inverting it while it was flipped. Still pulls juice into the stem when I take draws. It's pretty much useless to me.

I do seem to be having good luck with the T2, though after a little bit of iffyness.. I'd recommend you try one of them out :)

I've had a fair number of t3 heads (5 now), and to some extent, they've all started to leak/flood. Generally I find that the T2 'short wick' and the t3 heads are about equal for flooding and performance. Good news on both of them is that everything that can break, is attached to the head and is easily replaced. I've still never seen either make it more than two days (max) between floods. Generally I see either flood a couple times a day.

Vivi Novas haven't been great to me in terms of flavor or vapor production, but I've not had the flooding problems. Mediocre performance to the end of time. yay.

If you don't get a Genuine Vision Vivi then it is a knockoff. Knockoff = problems. Don't complain about the Vivis and/or Kanger T2s unless you have the real ones. I've had 4 Vision V2 3.5 tanks and 4 Vision minis for 6 months. They do not leak. They do not give me dry hits. I do not hit them repeatedly like a freight train every 3 seconds. I have twice by accident unscrewed the bottom of the tanks and spilled juice all over me and my desk. Hmmmmm maybe I should complain about them.

Get an RBA and never look back, with the prices now you can get a few. Putting a few drops in an atomizer from time to time (unless, better yet, a RBA with tank), is much less of a pita than getting bad hits and dry hitting till your blue in the face just to flood the thing and get juice in the mouth. I have yet to find a clear-o that doesn't make me feel like I gave someone money for nothing or worse.
