The Limitless Plus is so easy to handle and if you're fine with it, don't move on to something different.
If you really like those prebuilt coils, (I think these are kanthal flat claptons, right?) just stick with them. Building with clapton isn't that much different than with simple round wire. They just give a warmer vape. That's all.
And in the end, getting the wicking right is much more important.

Then just glow out those coils till they are red hot at 30-40 watts and tuck them in some cold water while they are still glowing and they should come out as if they were new. Just don't let your mod get wet. Happened to me once. *shame on me*.
But with the Limitless that shouldn't be a problem, because the coils are far away enough from the mod.
Doing this will make your coils last a few months.

Oh and yeah those stock coils that came with it are flat claptons.

imo the coil is heating up too much

you can try:
- increasing the inner diameter of the coil,
- increasing airflow to the coil
- taking shorter drags
- increasing the number of wraps
- thinner wires
- wires of different material with higher resistance
- reducing the power output of the mod
- just simple spaced coils instead of parallels

take note some of the above will require changing the power output of the mod

also even spacing in spaced coils are important, maybe try wrapping a single 4 parallel contact coil and then carefully separating them into a pair of dual parallels

An update.... So here's my first single coil build on this deck. Came in at .75 ohms. Working pretty decently. (Fyi--I straightened it out a bit before wicking) I have a question about the finer points of vaping though:

When I vape this it is a bit thin on density and flavor--now i don't need to chuck big clouds rite now but I do want a dense flavorful vape. Any tips re: coil build, wraps, diameter, wicking, power etc?

This is 24 gauge kanthal.

Thanks everyone.

Gonna do that this afternoon and I'll report back. The vapor doesn't taste burnt. Just caramelized and the flavor has lost a lot.
Out of curiosity are you using a sweeter type of juice ? I ask because i've been using some twelve monkey's mangabeys which is a much sweeter type and kills my coils as fast as i can vape them lolz.If you are chain vaping alot i suggest letting the tank cooldown a bit between puffs.

Well then i'll say that's your culprit :p sweeter juices gunk those coils so much faster it's unbelievable! Gunked one of my factory ones in close to a single day ahah  Didn't listen to my vape shop clerk :p
