Don't judge me :)

Okay so I really love my Green Smoke and have completely quit analogs since I started using it. One week and counting! Eventually I'll probably look into the eGo or something else but for now I'm just wanting to stick with what I have. I don't really like the selection of flavors though that Green Smoke will ship to me (I'm in California) and so I've been looking at compatible cartomizers and other things that I can use with my existing equipment at a more affordable price. I saw some things at Vapor Kings but I'm not quite sure if I'm ready to start experimenting with filling my own cartridges and everything yet.

Everything I've been reading is saying that the Red Dragon brand uses the same KR808D2 battery as Green Smoke, so what I'm wondering is if anyone has had any experience interchanging the two? They have different available flavors of cartomizers though the savings isn't hugely better (only like $2 less for 20).

Thanks for not judging me in advance :)

Pffftt . . . no judging here. I started out on Greensmoke, too. They got me off cigarettes, and opened the door to this huge vaping world. As we say, here at ECF, whatever works to get you to stop smoking is the best setup for you. If you want to branch out in the flavor world, then blank 808 cartomizers are easy to fill with the e-liquid of your choice.

I quickly learned how to fill my own, and never looked back. It would cost (roughly) $.19-.29 cents per carto, in liquid plus the cost of the blank cartos. Way better than $15.00/5 prefilleds that GS charges.

There are vids on youtube for refilling cartomizers, as well as cleaning them.

Good luck with everything.

You won't be judged here:) Welcome to the ECF. Its all kind of confusing at first but once you start to pick up a few things like what threading you have it gets easier. I felt like my head was spinning at first and sometimes still do LOL. Don't be afraid to ask any questions because no matter how silly you think it is someone before you has asked the same thing. Filling your own cartomizers is always cheaper and don't throw out the ones you have cause you can refill them too. They say you can't but Im sure you will be able to. Check out you tube videos for cleaning and refilling cartomizers. Good luck and congrads on the week:vapor:

Somewhere in PA on my Ultra Limited
too many to list...

If you like fruit flavors, I'm loving ECBlends Dragon Tears (watermelon-ish) or Dragon's Blood (dragon fruit)
For tobacco, I like Ikenvape's RY4 Gold or Alien Vision Boba's Bounty are really tasty.

Re: filling cartos, it's really easy (and gets easier as you get the hang of it). Take a look on Youtube for Taryn Spin. It really helps fill them well. And definitely save the ones you've used. They can be cleaned almost good as new and you can reuse a bunch of times (even the pre filled ones can be cleaned and reused). PBasardo has a great Youtube about cleaning.

Good luck :)

Check out pink spot (love everything I've tried), ave's bobas bounty (tobacco), vapor bomb's fire n ice (cinnamon with a touch of menthol), and velvet vapor' bear claw.. There are just sooooooo many to choose from.. It's fuun finding stuff you like.. Also, don't be afraid to venture away from thing you think you like.. I've found stuff I wouldn't think to eat/taste Vapes waaay awesome.. Menthol, for instance. Hated menthol analogs, but menthol juices are outstanding. Weird.

Acadia, no judgement here!! Like ppl have said before, anything that keeps you off the analogs is a good thing. :) Welcome to the forums!

Pink Spot is right up the road from me in Las Vegas and I still havent tried any of the flavors. Anyone know if they have a good tobacco/honey flavor? Im too lazy otherwise I'd just go look.

Edit: See it now. It's 'spensive!! At that price, I hope it at least kisses me a bit first and wants to cuddle afterwards

Okay.. Wow just looked up some videos on refilling my cartomizers and that really does look unbelieveably easy! I'm kind of kicking myself for throwing a couple out! So with all the choices for flavors out there does anyone have any favorites to share? Thanks for pointing me in the direction of YouTube.. :)
I threw away like 20 before I found out I could refill em. Don'y feel bad. Most of us have done it.:)

Yeah so did I. Thank god for ECF and Youtube!!

Acaida, no question is too dumb :) ECF has some of the nicest friendliest and most helpful folks on the net. What kid of flavors did you want to try? Do you like Tobacco? Menthol? Fruity? Bakery? Coffees?

I shouldn't be staying up this late! I ended up placing an order on Pink Spot.. The honey tobacco and black mamba sounded way too tasty so I got a sampler and started randomly picking stuff.. I think between that and the order that I should be getting tomorrow from Greensmoke I'll be set for a month.. I'd better be! I quit smoking to save money!!!

I think they rank up there as the most expensive (not by much though) juice supplier out there, but their quality and taste has made me a repeat customer.

I'm sure if you asked Penn and Sandi nicely they might just oblige:p
