get an ego with a drip tip and liquid... you won't regret it. great flavor and hits... no need to keep buying carts and switching batteries. get a pink one if thats what you're into. once you get along with that you might want to buy an ego atomizer and fill the 2.5ml carts which last a long ... time and you won't have to drip. but for the time being dripping will be a great intro to your use. it takes as much effort as whipping out a lighter every time you vape. instead you whip out a tiny bottle and put two drops at the top and start vaping

you can also get cute boxes at vapebox... but i wouldn't rule out getting an ipod carrier at ur local target or something

Thank you so much, guys. This is really helpful. And I applaud all of you for humoring me and answering my stupid questions. I know I sound completely clueless to anything and everything sometimes. lol.
Just tell me if I have this right --

I should start with the prefilled ones since I'm used to smoking tobacco. I don't have to refill the prefilled ones, but I can if I chose to. Ones that you fill yourself are cheaper, and taste better. Yeah??

One more question: How do I know when I've smoked a cigarette? Considering how often I indulge in my disgusting habit I feel like I would just keep going and going without even thinking about it.

I should start with the prefilled ones since I'm used to smoking tobacco. regardless of the flavor you are using - they (as long as we are talking about cartomizers and NOT cartridges) are easy to use and if you get the pre-filled ones you don't have to have juice - but you'll wish you got some I'm just saying. I don't have to refill the prefilled ones, but I can if I chose to. Ones that you fill yourself are cheaper, and taste better. Yeah?? yes, pre-filled (and not re-filling yourself) is MUCH, MUCH, MUCH more expensive....if I had to use pre-filled cartos I'd be broke within a month and discouraged by the taste (notice I didn't call it 'flavor')

One more question: How do I know when I've smoked a cigarette? Considering how often I indulge in my disgusting habit I feel like I would just keep going and going without even thinking about it. That's the best part! You no longer have to worry about it. In fact it works better if you DON'T try to smoke it on a schedule like you smoke cigarettes. You should intentionally chain-vape to stave off any nic fit you might get. If you crave a cigarette you didn't vape enough soon enough. Vape early vape often - vape before the nic fit happens. Over time your vaping will slow down, but in the beginning just don't even set your e-cig down - it should be attached to your face:)

I hope that helps :)

I do not necessarily agree that the EGO is the best choice for you. it somewhat depends on how many analogs you currently smoke. Again, if you smoke 1 packs a day or less, the mini's that resemble an analog likely will be good enough. If you smoke less than a pack a day AND want something small, 4081 is a decent choice.

I have both. I get all the points made about each...

Edit: As a female, and likely a light smoker (still), i think the 4081 or a pen style (much longer) 810/302 is the answer.

A drip tip is the .... end with the little hole in it, right?

These are examples of drip tips. I use these on all my atomizers and cartomizers.

How many do you currently smoke a day? This is very important in your choice...

We've both been looking up different products and what not and have finally decided on either Green Smoke or Vapor King (V4L?). To be 100% honest, I'm really leaning towards Vapor King because of the leopard print PCC (I'm a tool, I'm aware.) but I'm totally confused about something.
My dad said that with Green Smoke you don't have to put any liquid in because it has a cartridge and an atomizer. However, Vapor King has a 'cartomizer'... Does that mean it's the same thing and I don't have to put any liquid in? Also, if I do have to put in the liquid myself, why do they sell cartomizers with different flavors and nicotine levels?

I use the VK from V4L and I love it. A cartomizer is a combination cartridge/atomizer. You don't have to put liquid in it unless you order the blank varieties but I think you'll find that it's most cost-effective to buy the juice and refill the cartomizers several times. I'd recommend the WoW varieties of cartos and juice and the XL manual batteries.

I smoke about half a pack a day, unless I'm like really upset or whatever. Then it's 3/4 to a whole pack. I've been trying to cut down though cause I don't make nearly enough money to smoke so much. lol.

Ok, that is "reasonably" light usage. If you want something similar in size as an analog you may be fine with a "mini". Anything over a pack a day I don't think a mini can be used for a main PV - you would need 2 complete kits and have 2 batteries being charged at all times...

A 4081 may be a good choice for a 2 piece simple mini type.... It is what SmokeStik sells..

My only concern really with a 4081 is I believe that they are only 3.1V. Whether SS has a higher output, i am not sure. I believe their beta model Pitbull (which has not been released and no ETA yet) will run on 3.4V. A bit better...

I do like the taste of my 4081 though. Mine "says" that it is a 3.6V however. Whether this is true or not is debatable.

Yeah, I think I've finally decided on the VK "short". Mostly cause it actually comes in white. lol.

Who sells the VK? So many models in my head I get confused... That and i drank too many beers last night....

EDIT: VK = Vapor King model from V4L. That name creates confusion as there is also a company named Vapor King, just so you know... was reading your previous post...

I would read more about the SS before choosing if you have not so already. There seems to be a lot of fans on here of it.... I don't care for my KR808 (which is what V4L sells) personally, but admittedly i bought a generic one and very possible not exactly the same... There are fans of V4L ... like the person earlier that has one...

Would be interesting if someone owns both the SS and V4L... and get their thoughts...

I just wanted to add that you are lucky to have a father that cares enough about you to explore this as an option for you.

As for advice:
Many advise going for the eGo as a starter kit. I took their advice and I am extremely satisfied with my purchase. I was just thinking about picking up a couple more batteries/cones so i can sport differant colors!

As for not wanting to fiddle with fluids. I can understand that. After all, youll have the worry of wanting to refill while driving. And thats a no no. I am finding that filling a cartrige will last me about 45 minutes of driving, probably longer as i havent run out on a driving trip yet. But, the bright side of using a cartridge instead of a cartomizer is that you can easily swap flavors. Cartomizers tend to last longer than cartridges.
