I had been smoking camel filter analogs for the past 35 years. A little over two months ago I bought my first e-cig by Green Smoke and I haven't had a analog since then :)

After reading the recommendations here on the forum I purchased and just received my Vapor King (the KR808 XL 8hr batteries) from Vapor 4 Life. I am very pleased with it and it is a lot less money and a lot better than Green Smoke e-cig's.

A couple of questions for anyone that might have some information they can share:
Cartomizers:
a) I am looking for standard tobacco flavor - kind of smooth and sweet. Any suggestions on what might be some good standard tobacco type flavors?

b) I have heard good things in this forum about the Vaopr 4 Life premium cartomizers. Does anyone have any other suggestions for vendors that have good quality cartomizers?

c) Does anyone know of adapters that I could buy so I could finish off my Green Smoke cartomizer on the new Vapor King batteries? I have a lot of these Green Smoke tobacco flavored cartomizers that I would hate to waste - though I could use them up in the Green Smoke battery if I had to.

Thanks so much for any help you could offer and thanks to so many for keeping the forum so useful and helpful for all.

I don't know about quality as I've only used the ones from SmokeTip and some blanks. But, I DO like the taste of the SmokeTip tobacco flavor. But that's only if you can do 16mg. I need 24mg, so can't use those. But the flavor is good.

AMBKJ: Thanks for the info on Smoke Tip. I have added them to my bookmarks and will check further into them.

Spider362: That's a lot of information :). It will take me awhile to go threough it but surely will be useful to anyone reading as well as myself. Thanks much.

LiMew: That is prefect. I am going to try one box of the Cowboy flavor and one box of the 555 flavor. I had been curious on that 555 name and know have some idea as to what it is. I suspect one of those two flavors will be exactly what the doctor ordered :). Thanks much.

In the V4L forum, I asked about the difference among three similarly titled e-liquids: "WowBoy WOW vs. Cowboy Wow vs. Wowbacco Wow." Here was V4L Supplier Associate dohsma's reply:

The underlying tobacco flavor in Wowboy is what I taste in the Wowbacco, but Wowbacco does not have the hint of chocolate or mint. The Wow Cowboy is pretty similar to our regular Cowboy flavor. It is a tobacco flavor with a hint of sweetness to it. Thickness, I would agree, it's quite a bit thicker than our regular liquid, but nowhere near as thick as say a VG based liquid.
I also asked why Wowboy was no longer listed among the Wow cartomizers. dohsma went on to say:

We should start seeing more Wow cartomizers, in general, next week. The tobacco flavors are going to be among the first to ship. Also we sold out of Wowboy cartos, they have been re-ordered and given top priority.
In general, V4L "Premium" cartomizers (as well as VaporNine's Turbo and CigEasy's Gold Label) are far superior to (anyone's) regular Kr8 cartos, especially in vapor production (rivaling the 510, which is a vapor machine). [The "Wow" cartomizers are the same as the Premium, but with the higher-quality "Wow" e-liquid in them.]

I recommend that you try the blank Premium cartomizers and fill them with e-liquid of your choice. And what that choice will be no one yet knows. You need to experiment. For me, plain old DeKang "Marlboro" (however it is misspelled or euphemized) is one of the best (and is "smooth and sweet"). I also like DK-TAB (DK = DeKang; TAB = Turkish American Blend), Flue Cured, Cuban Cigar, and Hilton. RY4 is very popular: sweet tobacco with caramel and vanilla flavoring. GrimmGreen has said positive things about RY3; I'm looking forward to trying it.

E-liquid samplers (whether as a sampler pack or your selection of small bottles) are great for trying out flavors. MyFreedomSmokes has a huge selection of Tobacco flavors (DeKang, I believe) in various nicotine strengths and bottle sizes (ranging from 10ml to 500ml). VaporStation carries many different tobacco flavors and has a $25 5ml Sampler 10-Pack (50ml total). Excellent price. I wrote about others in Part 5 of that WWV thing.

We might be twins, lol. I did the same thing mate. greensmoke to V4L and never turned back.

IMO, 555 and Cowboy are both good for non-menthol smokers. I prefer the 555 over the cowboy, but then i am a menthol smoker.

I hear that LITECIGUSA.com also has good carts for the KR808 but i have not tried there yet.

And the last question is a good one that i would like answered as well :)

Hope i was of some assistance.

-cheers
