I have been here 20 or so days..and watched all the videos and saw those vapers draw hard, but I thought it was a preference, not how to vape.

When I smoked, I thought short draws and shallow breath would save me from lung cancer (LOL) and I did the same with my vaper...only to feel not as satisfied as I thought I might..

Fast forward to an old post on this site which said..the only way to vape is long draws and deep breaths to satisfy like a cigarette..and sure enough...when I tried it, it worked!

Hope this helps others who might not know this info...I certainly did not.

There's really no right way or wrong way. Just finding what works for you :D
I'm happy you found your way!

I've read the same thing and watched the same videos, but I can't do it that way.

I typically take two pretty quick puffs (without inhaling - like a cigar), followed by one longer puff of about 3 seconds. I've tried taking an 8 second inhale/puff and just don't have the capability.
This would be the primer puff. You should give it a shot too angstless

It depends on your setup, nic level, power, etc. For cartos I smoke 36mg at 6v and only take 1 1/2 to 2 second drags and it kicks like a mule. With my RBA and a 1.0 ohm micro coil, a 2 second drag is all that is needed to kick the same as the 6v carto. Anything longer than a 4 second drag and you are picking yourself up off the floor wondering if anyone got the license plate number of the truck that hit you......

Congrats on finding a way for this to satisfy!! It took me almost two years of off and on vaping to "get it". The right set up (for me) the right juice flavor and strength, and very important...... the technique.

I am still wondering about the 5-8 second draw tho. How fast are they counting? If I count really fast, with no "one thousand" in between, I can get all the way to 5. :p

Just about exactly the way I do it, sometimes 3 puffs then deep drag. I learned by watching PBusardo I think. :vapor:

No need to count, my handy dandy Evic does that for me in case I get dizzy from the nic hit.
