It's agony. My windpipe hurts when I take a deep breath. It didn't go as far as my lung - it cooled before that.

I started a new job and I was out in the smokers shelter in a gale force wind, I had the metallic taste from my AGA-T2 but I ignored it or didn't notice it, anyway, there was a hot spot and I was drawing deeply, the result is i'm in serious pain. It seems to be down the left side of my throat inside somewhere.

I just wanted to warn people. Don't Inhale super-heated gas.

It hurts. :danger:

Matching the T2 to a mech mod can be a tricky business.

Ya, that's unlikely to be a boiling liquid issue, rather a hot air/burnt hit thing. But yes, it can be really nasty. Hope you're OK!

I've had a few really burnt hits with RBAs too. Tasted awful, but didn't hurt. Maybe I've just been lucky. Then again, I make it a point to always fix a hot spot before I take the next hit, they always get worse. My bad burnt hits always happen if the first indication of trouble is during a deep mouth inhale. I started lung inhaling a couple of months ago and that helps because you taste the drag as you inhale, but you still have to stop right away and not try it again.

I would like to know as well so that i am careful.
It was my own fault, it wouldn't have happened if i'd been careful. I didn't treat my RBA with the respect it deserves. It was a combination of errors, I made a rushed attempt at a coil, didn't check the resistance, then used a mechanical mod with a newly charged battery. I think I need a separate set up for when I'm busy at work, and keep my RBA for home use.

I'm feeling much better this morning, the inflammation must be going down because I can breathe deep again. Thanks.

Good to hear you're doing OK now GBX4! All this stuff has a learning curve. My last winner was when I was setting up a new coil on a RDA and touched the side of my finger on a just red hot coil. I will never, ever, ever, do that again  :

It was a nice tight wrap though, wasn't it ...
