A FIY for people Blu cartos are 510 threaded. :) SO in a pinch you can pick up just a box of those.

Yep....IN A PINCH....!!!
Yet, when you're pinching your pennies....a 5-pack @ ~$15 is pretty hefty.....for what you get out of them!!!
I refilled the first (and only!) 5 I had with some decent juice...several times each....and made it through the wait period for my Ego Twist Starter kit to arrive....
But BLANK 510 cartos are cheaper....around $7/5-pack....and will do the trick...
IN A PINCH!!!;)

So none of the smoke shops in your area have juice? Even in BF, Kentucky I can find e-liquid. It may not be very good juice, but it would do the trick.

This was the first e-cig I bought locally. The website has a list of places to buy, but it's not complete- the place I bought mine isn't listed on the website. The "express starter kit" was $8, and a pack of cartos is only $8 as well, and they're 510 threaded. I recommend it for a cheaper-than-disposable starter or backup.

Running out of e-liquid or not having back-ups (and back-ups for the back-ups) was a lesson I determined I would experience once and once only. Never again!

You've learned your lesson well, grasshopper.

Those words of wisdom were imparted to me by a fellow vaper in one of the buildings in which I work. I've never run out.

Until this past Saturday.

After noticing my supplies were not low; but GONE. I let out a Homer-esque "D'oh !!". I swore I had some left. I get online and order more. I had several (20) prefilled carto's already en route, 4 bottles of liquid also en route, but they ain't here yet. But them brand spanking new, but empty, carto's sitting on my night stand don't help when you have nothing to drip into them... An online check of my delivery says they should be here by Wednesday. Four days away.

I go to Walgreens and pick up three disposable NJoys. Never had one, but I've heard of them and I believe others have said they're "okay" in a pinch. My normal carto's last me from morning to the next morning. In the parking lot of Walgreens I begin CPR on that freakin' NJoy.

It lasted three hours. THREE. Thinking maybe I over-did it, I popped another, but used it with great care. I went into "quit vaping" mode and barely used it. I began recycling my discarded carto's, getting 10-15 minutes out of each. I had a big stack, because, well, I don't throw anything away.

Monday morning I take my last NJoy with me for my ride to work. Halfway there I need the last one. I pop it from it's case, take a drag, nothing. I look at my reflection in my rear view; nope the tip isn't glowing on inhale. Got a dead one. No vapes at all at this point.

I get to work (1.5 hour commute) and the second part of the "Don't Run Out of Supplies !" rings in my head, "Because you WILL take an analog !".

I see a maintenance guy standing outside smoking. I bum one. I fire it up, yep tastes nasty as all get out, but it contains My Addiction; nicotine. I take a drag. Then two. Then three. About halfway through my heart is pounding like I just ran a 5k. Scared, I put it out, excusing myself as needing to make a phone call. It takes 5-10 minutes for my galloping heart to return to normal. Not pleasant.

Still not learning my lesson, I buy a few more NJoy's. They don't last. Last night, Tuesday, I had to work late. I whine to my wife about my e-cig conundrum. She offers to pick me up a few on her way home from work, she was going to Walgreens for her 'scrip anyway. She buys me a Blu Starter kit. Don't know why, but I can't judge. It was awful nice for her to assist. She's undoubtedly seen that incessant commercial on TV.

The Blu Starter kit is a cool concept, the case recharges the batts. It'd be better if they lasted more than a few hours. Them batts are crazy tiny. Now I know why the kit came with two batts and five carto's. You NEED them to make it through the day.

Today when I get home from work, I have vape mail. All is right again. That Blu setup is now my E-cig Emergency Kit in case I run out again.

In closing;

Right from the start I was super paranoid about running out of supplies and slinking back to analogs. So I've got 4 ego batteries, an Innokin SVD in the mail, and enough juice to last at least a couple of months. I always keep a couple of small bottles of a juice that I can tolerate but don't love for the hard times. Nothing boosts juice economy like vaping a non-favorite flavour.

I've got enough gear and fixins to last till the apocalypse

Yet I still hoard collect Always keep a bottle of PG, VG, and some unflavored nic put away... In a real pinch you can mix up some flavorless and refill those old cartos... It will get you through!

Oh, and if you managed to get 3 hours out of an Njoy King, you're one damn lucky feller!

You might even want to consider a bottle of DIY nic solution in the %mg you vape, 1 or 2 food flavorings, a spare clearomizer and a simple ego type battery.

Those 4 things alone will get you thru well over 2 weeks, and at a cost of very very little. (actually you can make enough ejuice for well over a month with the below stuff):

Old style ego batt non vv from classies: $10-12
Unflavored nic 30ml $4.00
Clearomizer $5.00
2 food flavoriings (even from walmart) $3.00

way cheaper than a blu I bet.

Really, you don't have to be a chemist, emergency is putting a few drops of Watkins strawberry into the nic juice and you can vape it all day, no problem, or even just vape unflavored. :))

Bound and determined to never be in this situation, my vape supply is something similar to a "Doomsday Vapor" episode.
Or maybe an episode of " Vapors....Buried Alive"
My everyday carry along contains the device I happen to be using that day, along with a pouch that has 4 full protanks and 4 10ml bottles of juice.
A few spare atty heads and a couple qtips.
In the car I have a backup mech mod "just in case"
I also leave a spare mod at work.
At home I have a k100 mech, Vamo V3, Innokin SVD and an ego twist.
Numerous dripping attys and carto/clearo tanks.
I've been making my own diy juice as well.
I have about 1 year supply of nic and about 100 bottles of mixed juices.
About 1000ml worth.
I am very determined to never again put an analog into my mouth.

Agreed but if you are in a place like I am where the only option if you run out of everything is buy a blu or buy cigs... I would buy the blu. With the 510 connection at least I can use the batterys later with other devices or put my own clearo's on them if it was just a defunct battery issue. It would fill the gap until good stuff arrived.
