I had my SVD for about 3 months and I started having issues with the power button. Not working, having to push it real hard, turning off all the time, I was very close to buying a new mod, but I was able to fix it very easily, and now its working like new! If anyone is interested or has a bad SVD post here. I can possibly make a video of how I did itx

I just thought it could be dirt. I don't have problems yet but if you do, why not try that spray contact cleaner you can get at electronic stores?

I tried contact cleaner. Unfortunately, it made no difference for me. I ended up getting a Provari, but I still keep my svd around in case anyone ever comes up with a solution.

Ha, aceswired, this reminds me of the very old joke "How do you keep an idiot in suspense?"

Anyway, I have this problem as well, and my SVD is super clean, so not an issue of gunk messing up the fire button -- unless the gunk or whatever was already there to start, which might be exactly the case. I don't care too much, because I moved on to an MVP, then got a Semovar, plus I still use my VVs, but it would be nice to know what the deal is with that.
