Double check my math?

Pretty sure I got it right, but I haven't mixed up a batch this big yet and want to make sure!

I have 30mL of 100mg/mL nicotine in PG base.

If I mix 30mL of that nicotine, 90mL regular PG, and 60mL VG, I should end up with 180mL of 16.6% nicotine, 66% PG/33% VG.

Correct?

What you're doing makes no sense to me, but most of your math is right.

You would have 1.66% nicotine, or 16.6mg/ml which is a more typical designation here in the ECF forum.

Yeah, silly me I wrote 16.6% when I meant 16.6mg/mL. Big difference!

If you start with 30ml of 100mg juice, you have a total of 3,000 mg of nicotine.

Now you throw a buch of stuff into it which adds up to 180ml of liquid volume. So you have 3,000mg of nicotine in 180ml of volume.

If I want to find the nicotine in 1ml of volume, I would divide 3,000mg / 180ml = 16.6667mg per 1ml of volume.

Hence it sounds like the formula is Total Nicotine / Total Volume.

So yes, 16.6667mg per 1ml sounds correct.
