I hardly ever write reviews, but thanks to this website, the users who share all their information, findings, time and opinions, I made the jump to vaping very recently. Also, my experience with Vapor Alley has made the hard transition from smoking analogs after 20+ years, that much stress free and enjoyable.
My previous experience with vaping was back in 2008 with the Crown 7 Hydro. I quit smoking analogs for about a year and then went back one day out of boredom.
Fast forward to May of 2013. I began having symptoms of Macular Degeneration. I decided to quit smoking after reading online that people who smoke have a 4X chance of developing the blinding eye disease. I didn't want to quit but I knew I had to.
After a solid week of abusing NJOY Kings at 8$ a day, I pulled out the old Crown 7. The batteries were dead. I ran to the gas station and purchased an Njoy rechargeable thinking it would be like the King. 1.6% nicotine and an anemic vape cloud made me turn to the internet forums for advice.
ECF forums have encyclopedia volumes of content. Get this cartomizer with this battery. Variable voltage, drip tips, etc. Too much info and my desperate attitude to not spend 8$ a day led me to Vapor Alley.

The Kanger Evod? An excellent first "real" e-cig. Simple to fill for a first timer. Simple to assemble. The instructions are clear and concise. Everything was wrapped well and nothing was damaged in shipping.

The flavor of the "Red and White" isn't quite like the Cowboy Killer taste, but it's very nice and strong.
The Menthol is excellent and I'm not that much a fan of that flavor. I really liked it and will order 3 more bottles of it next time.
Here's a tip- mix half a tank of Red and White Juice with half a tank of Menthol and you will have an excellent flavor.
Onto the EVODS themselves. The batteries are excellent and solid. They have a good weight to them and feel like they are excellent quality. The matte black finish is stylish and goes well with the chrome accents. The threads are precise and replacement heads and tanks do not leak. Make sure to prime the cartomizer when filling it for the first time.
The amount of vape is excellent. A strong lung filling vapor with an A+ throat hit will satisfy the newly reformed smoker.
My brother, who has been smoking almost 20 years cannot put down my Kanger EVOD and is enjoying the heck out of it. He says that he is going to order a set like I did and eventually give up analogs.
If you have any doubts about starting vaping, this is the product you need to get and this is the website to get it from. Do not waste another day thinking about quiting analogs.
UPDATE: After quitting analogs and changing my diet, (no sugars,starches, lots of green leafy vegetables, carrot-spinach juice daily and no meats other than fish) my Macular Degernation symptoms are almost gone. My vision is restored to 95% and I am feeling very well. I have lots of energy and am very happy vaping instead of smoking. AGAIN, DEAR READER, DO NOT HESITATE ONE MORE DAY.
