Wood Dovetails in metal..not worth it

I worked up a prototype enclosure (I had some aluminum that was too wide, but wanted to practice brazing it) and decided it would be a good chance to test an idea I had to use dovetails in the cover.

It is possible, but boy what a pain. I think I will skip it.

Hey Dog,for me thats the fun of moding is building the tough stuff if it was easy it wouldn't be fun and those dove tails look sweet.

True! I will file it away for later use (the method, not the box). Now to spend a day getting the aluminum out of my files.
