Dovpo Emech issues

Hello everyone. Great forum here. First time posting but longtime lurker. I was wondering if anyone knows if there are replacement parts for the Dovpo E-mech out yet. I got mine 2 weeks ago and LOVED it... worked excellent until the other day when it got extremely hot for no reason. The unit still fired but it was like it was on max settings and the ohm reader was way off. The batteries weren't hot, just the whole upper section of the device.

I opened it up and saw that the circuit board looked burnt near the threaded base. I noticed when I inserted the batteries... a small chip on the board instantly became extremely hot so I assume it's toast. It's a shame because it was still new and worked so well up until then, and now I can't find any info on repair. I emailed Dovpo asking about buying a board and they said to contact who I bought it from and ask them. Does anyone have any ideas? Thanks in advance!

    No you can't
Sorry to hear the bad news, I know how that feels been through it myself, I always pay attention to the warranty.

Went to their site and found this tib bit, unless DOVPO official distributors you've got a problem.

    Warranty
Please consult with DOVPO official distributors for their warranty and return policy.
DOVPO’s warranty does not apply to products purchased through third party vendors.Dovpo 30W E-cigarette e-mech MOD better then DNA30 | Touch screen operation electronic cigarette

IMO: I wouldn't put no more money into it, just go get a device you like that has some sort of warranty from a reliable vendor that's we'll known.

I've gotten a DNA 30 from fastech and they have improve much on the device cost $49.00 - I got it in two weeks with their warranty.

    Edit in.

If you do contact DOVPO I would bring up that others on ECF FORM (bold type) have suggest to contact them. A little weight can go far sometimes.

Never go it alone bring a few friends. :)

Thanks Mightymen. I highly doubt the vendor was authorized but you never know. I'm actually not even looking for a warranty claim though... I just want to purchase a replacement board so I can fix it myself. I still can't even get any info on it though. I will probably go with a DNA but I really liked having 2 18650 batteries in the Emech to ensure it lasted me all day without needing to carry batteries with me.

Dovpo Emech issues I am now getting wrong ohm readings on the dovpo it readsy naut. At 1.0ohm I also have been using my RDA at .7 ohms and I keep getting shorts I was firing at 6v was working for a day and now not so much. I contacted the brick n morter I bought it from and they refuse to swap it out even though they are an authorized retailer. Any info gladly accepted. Ty

I was just going to start a thread about DovPo Emech because i like it so much... !!

I have a few more expensive box regulated mods and I always use my DovPo. I've had it a month and I work the heck out of it with no issues.

I even turn it off between vapes a lot, like every few minutes... its so easy to navigate, gives plenty of info, feels good in the hand, and the deal is it has 2 18650s. For the price its killer.

I got mine from Vapor Tek (i think)...

I agree! Except for the issues I had with the first one, i LOVE this thing! Battery life is awesome...easy to use and great price. I was debating getting an IPV3 also (for work) because I love having this dual 18650 setup. I've never even gone over 22W yet!
Thatls the thing; I got 2 120w Raptor boxes which are like the cadilac but a good 30w or at most 50 is all i need, because I vape mostly single coil RTA type atomizers.

The only time I will go below .6 ohms is for dual coils, and so far I don't care for flat base drippers with lots of air.

I do have an Origen2 and a Magma. which imo are the only RDA type I like. Less air flow, but great flavor. They are great at 2.5 to .35 ohms and its a cool vape, not harsh. (60+w)
