Batteries should be placed in short term storage only. Cycled and recharged periodically. Generally 70%-80% charge when stored.

Down to 6mg myself. Feels nice after all those years of smoking. Also have the goal of reaching -0- nic. I haven't really considered quitting Vaping though. I enjoy the flavors I have learned to DIY.

Just a cautionary word or two:

As a 30 year 2 PAD ex smoker I had cigarette cravings chasing me during my first nine months of vaping. The frequency of those cravings and their intensity dwindles over time but at least for me they didn't go away quickly either.

We had a member rejoin us recently who had to pick up vaping again after quitting it for two years. Even after that amount of time she was dealing with a full blown smoking relapse staring her in the face.

The hold that years or decades of smoking can have on us is insidious. I appreciate your efforts, but don't be in too big a rush to quit vaping and know you have a better alternative than relapsing into smoking if you run into a problem.

Once I give up vaping (3-4 months down the road), should I store the batteries fully charged or depleted? Standard issue batteries with ProVari, forgive me for not knowing specs. I will be keeping my APVs just in case I decide to change my mind lol

should that ever happen, get a flashlight that takes the same batteries, and continue to use the batteries.

decided Id stay at 6mg forever lol... I tried going to zero after a few months of cutting nic down from 24mg gradually to 6mg. almost bought a pack of cigs by the end of the day.

^^This. I'm already at 6mg at only 100 days in, so I can see myself only needing 3mg strength by summer. But giving up vaping? Not at chance at this point in time. I take it one day at a time. Keep at this 6mg for a month or so, and drop it down again if I need/want. For me, the most important thing is to STAY off cigarettes. Giving up/reducing nicotine/vaping may or may not come at some point.

To the OP, don't waste those batteries by "storing" them. The flashlight to fit those batteries is a good idea. Everyone needs flashlights. Might as well use one that fits those batteries, should you wish.
