This seems to happen with some frequency using non protonated nic. It not infrequently takes years. I used to vape 24mg in MTL. Now I’m vaping I think 10. I jumped up to 24mg again during Christmas for a long road trip to minimize the amount of vape fumes in the car because the other trip memeber suffered from severe breathing problems. When I got back I was at 10mg DL, but I’m now finding a few months later that I’m preferring the 10mg in MTL. I need to cut my 10mg in half and try that in DL I think.

I still vape the same amount but I've cut my nicotine down, I can live on a 3 but prefer six just for the throat hit. I did get some 12 mg recently and other than the throat hit didn't seem any different. I'm tempted to go to zero but I've found zero e-liquid that has good throat hit without nicotine and I need throat hit to keep away from the stinkies. I go through about six ml a day which is about 36 mg of nicotine per day. Which is roughly equivalent to two packs of cigarettes same as what I used to smoke.
