"Testing of
e-liquids and vapor for the presence of toxic chemicals."
This is something I wonder about: If the manufacturer of the base ingredients (PG, VG, nicotine, flavorings) does the testing and certifies said ingredients free of toxic chemicals, why should a maker have to test the final product, which would basically be a re-test of those same components?
As far as testing vapor, first benchmarks would have to be established around how the test should be conducted. Which equipment (vapor produced by a "vaping machine," or an actual ecig? If the latter, which ecig? cigalike? eGo? mod? cartridge? tank?) Test vapor w/o human intervention? (i.e. vapor created by a machine vs. vapor as exhaled by an actual human being)
This is not intended to be a criticism of testing, just points I've been pondering.
