Much respect to the Shriners but I'm more of a Shiner guy...
Thats a Modern Drunkard fez on the handsome fellow in my avatar.

Too funny! Well, my step-father would have qualified for both frats! lol!

And that's WONDERFUL news kitty! That is my goal one day, to vape nic-free!

My Pulmonologist didn't like the idea of VG at all. He said don't use it. He said it's like rubbing oil on your lungs. He wasn't very acquainted with PG. Next visit he said he was emailing an article to me put out by the 'thoracic' folks. I never got it so when I call their office in a couple of weeks I'll ask about it.

I think it's premature to call using the ecig "progressive", especially since that usually means going backwards in this country. I'm just wanting someone to find a 'base' (like VG and PG) that we know is 100% agreeable with our lungs. Even if I had to give up flavor (perish the thought) I'd do it rather than having to stop vaping. But I do know there is 'something' in these juices that's giving me shortness of breath. I've been using straight PG now for a couple of months and things don't seem any better.

OP, good luck with finding out solutions. But do rethink using the VG, I don't think that's good for anybody.

Hmm, comparison of VG with oil is probably just wrong. VG and PG are water soluble which is one of the main reasons they are picked up for this task. Oil, as you know is not.

So if lungs do clean by the process of hydration, which I think they do, then the VG ad PG should be "rinsed" so to say. But a doc would know more about this part.

Back when I was in the ER because I thought I was having a heart attack (turned out to be, oddly enough, just acid reflux caused by the ecigs I was using at the time) I told the doc I quit smoking a little while back and said I picked up the ecig and that he prob didn't really care to hear that either....he looked at me and just smiled and said....I'm pretty sure it's (the ecig) 100 times safer than cigarettes and it's a lot better to do it the new way than the old - couldn't believe he actually said that - thought it was cool.
