Dragon Coil Orientation

Whenever ive seen dragon coils, or built them myself...they are usually tilted up in the center of the rda ( / \ ). But i was thinking, why not have them tilted up facing the air holes ( \ / ) this way the air hits the exposed end of the coil and should result in more vapor, maybe with the expense of flavor but still. Its too late for me to try this but wanted to share my late night idea

To truly know why, you simply must try.

Tilt up with one end open is for maximum unrestricted vapor flow.
Tilt in is to accumulate vapor for maximum Vapor and Flavor combined and compacted into in a single column
