Yeah they are quite something aren't they. I rather use my Super nano's at this time but I might end up wicking it like a dragon coil at some point Lol

when i tried doing a super nano like that (i coiled around a sewing needle) I kept getting this burnt taste, was I not putting enough juice or what?
Do I have too? Lol
If you tried the cotton cloud you just want to saturate it enough just like my picture posted. Or you have a hotspot? Do you have a picture of your setup?
Could be you just run it out of juice. Maybe too littlw wick causing the juice to burn up a little quickly
the main problem i have with em is that they heat up so fast and so hot that you do occasionally get that unwanted hotspot. Just gotta find how much cotton to use .

I think I put less wick and less juice,, that may have been the issue. I tossed that build and went back to my bread and butter build (dual twisted micro coils) so I don't have a picture of it

LMK when you get it in I cant wait to see it bud! An yes I am pretty ecstatic about these super nannies LOL. Headed to the shop in a bit to get more juice cause these things absolutely kill juice. Going to be ordering a IGOw3 here in the next couple days whenever I get around to it so I can kick a vertical quad in it with the bunny tails. I feel like getting a brass nemi as well haha just don't know if I should haha. I like the color, and it matches my chain Lol.

I wonder how a quad nano would be...... Probably ridiculously dangerous haha. sounds pretty risky.
The downsides outweighed the good for me and I've tried it from .4-1.1 with 24-30Ga vertical and horizontal dripper and Russian.
For dripper
Upsides:Good nic buzz,good VP
downsides:taste is more muted, cotton pops off coil and creates inconsistency, the amount of cotton used tends to hold more juice than it will atomize, wicking more finicky than micro coil, some of the worst dry hits and when you look at the cotton it usually still looks reasonably wet, and air flow harder to align right.
I'll admit they were fun to play with but every one got torn down before the day was done with one exception. That exception being the armored dragon build I came up with to use in the russian. It's basically a dragon coil with an equal ID to the air hole on the russian deck wrapped in a long short piece of mesh with equal height to the coil. You mount it vertically and wrap it with 2 C pieces of hemp going in opposing directions to the juice intakes. I really liked the build, but tore it down when I ran out of PG and had 80%VG juice which didn't wick right in the build. Now I rock a broken off piece of a bon 60 grit aluminum oxide wick(porous ceramic) from a genny wick attempt with 26Ga and hemp feeds. I'm gonna run this until the kanthal rusts. I find myself vaping on it more than my drippers now, the taste and warmth are amazing. That + I don't have to force feed it often.
