I have two 78mm Volts and two regular size V2 batteries. One auto and one manual of each. I notice when fully charged that the draw is much tighter on the Volts than the V2 battteries. Takes more effort to get a decent vape. I have switched back and forth using the same exact clearo and the results are the same. Any reason why the Volts are harder to draw off of????

Have you cleaned around the battery post (check out the video on caring for your Volt battery) and checked the airholes on the 78's to make sure there are no obstructions? That is the only possible problem that would come to mind. What type of clearo are you using? I just tried my X2 clearo on both my 78 and x2 batts and they seem the same to me. .............anyone else have any ideas?

The strength of the drag is stronger on my X2/Spinners than 78s but I quit using my 78s some time ago. As far as "tighter", your is the only suggestion that I would have - clean it and check the air holes.

Wouldn't restrict the air holes with a X3 clearo thing-ee and shouldnt with the mini or T3 for the same reason. The threading is inside and there is a huge gap on 78's

Even if your 78s were deeeed, you would still hear a little hiss of the air holes.

I clean my batteries several times a week. And even after freshly cleaned I get the same results. My V2 batteries give an easier draw than my Volt batteries. Weird.

Have you tried popping off the ash cap and cleaning out that end? Sometimes the air holes on those little gray caps get dirt in them, or the air channel itself could be deformed?

I just bought a 78 Volt and the draw is insanely tight. Not feeling it to be honest and I had it on the charger for 5 hours, didn't fully charge and then died after 1 hour and 15 minutes of moderately heavy use. Awful.

Love Volt cartos, but if I didn't get a bad battery these are terrible.

(in my best "Yoda" voice) A new battery you say? To contact SI Customer Service and start a ticket I would!
