You can lead a horse to water but you cant make her vape it :)

The sentiment of someone wanting to explore the possibility of a smoking alternative is huge. When I show it to someone I tell them about how big of a change I have had in a short time in my breathing and also mention how much I have not spent on smokes then let them ask for more information before going much further.

As far as "How to vape" this is something I paid a lot of attention to when starting trying to figure what worked in technique for what hardware. Everyone is different on this so it is impossible to just say do it like this or that not to even mention how differently one piece of hardware acts next to another. I like big hits of something like waffle that you can chew on the exhale but my high nic tobacco flavor would knock me over with a hit like that so it is naturally not nearly as long or deep of an inhale. Just takes a little time to figure out what works then becomes pretty natural.

Hopefully your girlfriend will pick up on it with you simply because it is the easiest way to completely quit smoking and there is no argument doing that is greatly beneficial to your health, no idea of how long a smokers you guys are but I have found that more of the people who I have gotten to give it a serious try have been long time smokers who are really starting to see how damaged they are from smoking and those who express absolutely no interest are younger friends/family who have not quite got that smokers cough down pat so they probably figure they have plenty of time smoking left.

I also do as you mentioned in taking care of a lot of fiddly stuff for my wife. I try to make sure she has a fresh fill of her favorite juice and a regular tobacco cartomizer for when she feels she needs a little more. I have also spent countless hours researching to help us along on the DiY because she and some friends like the "Lab Party" where we sit around the table and mostly make stuff we cant vape but every once in awhile we hit a winner and add it to our list of recipes. Lastly is the suggestion already made in buying a variety of different cartomizers ect... in the hopes something will really strike her fancy and up her interest in giving vaping an honest shot at replacing smoking in her life.

Again best of luck for both of you.

What Is the best carto/atty to produce A LOT vapor? I love the visual of a huge cloud.. haha

Eric, the biggest cloud makers I have used so far are the Smok dual coil for the eGo. Basically just a huge cartomizer that hold 3mls and draws easily, nice soft rubber tip with a large hole in it. Also for vapor use a higher percentage of VG, this gives less throat hit so potentially even bigger drags for making more clouds.

Now thats the answer I needed.. Thanks brother! The throat hit isn't as important to me cause I'm a casual vapor (every couple hours). But ill add a couple of those to the next order. I figured a dual coil would do the trick theoreticly.

50 years on this planet and the only thing I can say for sure about women is that they are in fact, different than men.

I've been trying to get my wife into vaping, and having a little success. But I cannot push her; that would just cause her to push back.

I am intrigued by all the different hardware. She wants something as close to a cigarette as possible. When I gave her a basic 510 mini, she asked "Is there anything thinner?"

We usually decry auto batteries, preferring the better control with a manual. My wife said, quoting, "No buttons! No buttons! No buttons!"

I am experimenting with all kinds of different flavors. She wants only an exact replica of her menthols.

So anyway it is really a search for what works for her, which is very different from what works for me. And she has to make her own decisions in her own time. One learns to enjoy and respect these differences in approach and thinking.

Every now and then she'll say something like, "I'll sure like not having to clean ashtarys anymore." So I am encouraged.

Just gotta find that right menthol.

No buttons.... That sounds like a tough one to me. If I had the cash I could show her a PCC and a cast iron skillet, and say, "You can choose between the pen style, or having the battery fairy cook your battery in this pan twice a week while you sleep."

I think I'm going to take someone's advice and get the tobacco juice in 18mg strength rather than the 12 I'd be leaning toward for myself. We were both heavy ultralight smokers, 12 to 16 years. Even though I don't like it now, it did help me mentally believe that I had an alternative when I felt a cigarette craving. No reason not to use her already rewired brain chemistry in my attempts at giving her an enjoyable experience with it.

This forum really is invaluable for asking questions.
