Hey guys.

First batch of black Nuppin sleeves starting to ship out. Pic posted on the other thread. Man, these were more challenging than I expected. Most of my patinas have a lot going on in them, these black one really showed everythings, getting a uniform black took some work. That said, I think they turned out quite well.

Hey 73. I was trying to make that thread one that only shows available pieces, and keep all the talk over here so it's easy to see what's available. I am likely going to revisit that strategy very soon.

As over Nuppin, I am making done wood burl like sleeves, they are my favorite to make. You want to get on the list? Got a couple burls coming up soon

If you haven't already, jump over to the available patinas thread and check it out in action, just ignore the dirty drip tip and dust :/

Here's a super macro closeup of it. You can see marks on the atty top that my eyes can't percieve, it's so close in. The sleeves came out great

I have a small list of people waiting for one, and there will be an extra or two available. I was thinking of putting them all up at once on the Available thread, and leaving the thread open for those on the list to select theres via reply to the pic. I've kept that thread closed to keep continuity, but thought this may be a cool way to do it; when your # comes up, you get 1st pick of what I've got ready.

What do you all think? Any other suggestions?

I would keep pics and comments separate, as I feel that was the problem with the original thread. Too many comments and the product just got lost in the pages. If someone would like to purchase something they should just pm you and then you can comment in the other sub forum, or here, as to what has been sold and whats still available. Just my

I wouldn't worry about deleting the pic over there, just as long as you keep everyone updated here as to what is available or sold as you did in the post above this one... Is there anyway to edit the post to add that it was sold? You do have a door over there that just captivates me every time I look through that thread... I won't say which one, but just a bit out of my budget at the moment...

MH hits it. Maybe the best way to minimize inquiries would be to mark each patina in the other thread as "SOLD" once it is gone. ( another penny or two..)

I totally agree with the 2 of you. Although I unfortunately lose the ability to edit a post shorty afterwards. For now I'll just make a mention of sold items while I try to work the rest out.
