Happy Monday all! I've been doing a little experiment... For the last week I've had a patina'd Reo door on my all-day, pocket-bound, daily beater Reo. Testing out a new protective finish. To my delight, it has gone through a lot of abuse and not one chip, scratch, or even a finger print that didn't just wipe right off with a dry microfiber cloth. I am very pleased to say that the finish I'm using is very strong and durable.

This is not to say they are invincible, but moreso to say they don't need to be babied TOO much. If you were one of the first to order a patina from me and feel your finish has deteriorated in any way, send me a PM and we can arrange to give it some armor

I found a company that just started a preorder for a 100% copper billet box, none of the internals included. I'd love to do a full box patina, so if any of you who build want to make one of these let me know, I'm into doing my part of it
