Hey, guys, I'm getting my first mech next week and I do
know ohms law and I bought Efest 35 amp batteries 21700
and they are 30amps continuous max so when I calculate
I have alien coils that come out as dual around .14 - .15

so my question is I see ppl often use .1 ohm or .11 ohm on mechs would that be safe for me also with this battery to run like .11 ohm coils?

0.14 will draw 30A, the full rating on a brand new fresh battery (something I don't do, I like a buffer and wouldn't build below 0.2 ohm myself, more likely happy around 0.3 ohm if I need low resistance for some reason ). 0.1 ohm will draw 42A. There are no 42A single batteries out there.

Steam Engine and it's calculators like for Ohms law is your friend. Please spend some time reading up on things like mechs and safe battery use before jumping into this.

Pushing batteries beyond their limits is not advisable under any circumstances, right next to your face even less so.

In a word, no.

I agree with the above ^. Are you sure you want to go with Efest batteries? They are known as a "re-wrapper" company who over-rate their battery specifications, and could change the battery they use at any time to a poorer performing battery at any time.

Best to choose from authentic Lg, Samsung, or Sony batteries purchased from a reputable and trusted battery supplier.

You probably have seen stupid people doing stupid dangerous things on You Tube and social media. Would you be safe to do what they do?

Using any battery past its safe operating limits is extremely dangerous, and should be considered misuse/abuse of the battery. Some idiots seem to rebel against using common sense. Don't be one of them.

hang on a sec. a .12 on a fully charged battery will draw 35A. that's actually mostly fine on a authentic 30t.
Yes, but a safety buffer is advised rather than running right on the CDR.

Another thing to consider is that it's a good idea to factor in inaccuracies in resistance meters and the possibility of the resistance shifting on you during use. When you are down at those kind of resistance levels even a few tenths of an ohm south exponentially increases the amp draw and your chances of a bad day.

Even using 21700s, single battery mechs are horribly inefficient at high wattage (70+ watts). It's possible, but if you want a hot high power vape a regulated device or a dual battery mech is the way to go in my opinion.

This is true. I used to be a beautiful man. I was like the statue of David, people would just stare. Oh sure, sometimes they were staring because I was caught off guard in the middle of doing some nostril maintenance but mostly it was because I was man pretty. Then boom! Now Steve Buscemi calls me up to tell me I look hideous and thank me for taking the attention off of him! Steve Buscemi! He was great in Fargo and Boardwalk Empire so I'll forgive him.
