So I found some already powder coated boxes 100% stock undrilled and unmilled or cut. So if I were to get one, then drill the holes for 510 and 3 required buttons for dna30.... and dremel out a square for dna display... does the coating chip? if feels kind of enamel like. ????

I'm sure ideally the perfect solution is drill and cut the unfinished box, then powder coat it, but I don't know or have a place to offer such a service (though I'm positive their out there somewhere), this kind of fell in my lap.

Already powder coated boxes for about $10............. sounds cheap, but if the paint/powder coating is going to get destroyed in the process, its a waste of time.....nothing would frustrate me more than seeing the blem I created

Paint Coating Can Chip when you Drill or Cut the base material.

A trick that Many Times helps is to Sandwich another piece of Material over the Material to be Drilled/Cut.

For something like a Box Mod, this might be Kinda Tricky to clamp it. But Anything is Possible if a Person Thinks about it Long Enough.
