I use KENT flavor (24mg) when drinking beer and it's a good combination. Closes to the real thing that I have tried. The only suppliers I know that carry it are Ruyan Direct (Heavens Gifts), EastMall.net and Rocky Mountain Vapor.

I love beer...mostly stouts and Guinness is my favorite. I like the tobacco flavors with Guinness...WetYourStick has a great one!!!
It is also a great source of protein opposed to the non-stouts
And so is vaping!!!!
well, I did NOT feel good this morning.. I think my problem was that the vodka was so strong you know how it kinda like burns ? (I'm a wimp haha) I think it like overloaded my tastebuds IDK because once I stopped drinking for the night, about an hour or 2 later I could taste it again.. very weird, I couldn't even feel the throat hit or anything lol maybe I'm just weird. I know they aren't like analogs, but I didn't think they COULD let me down, I prefer them over analogs now... I have loved every second of it since last week
I'm going to echo the higher nicotine suggestion. That, and it might be the flavors. I did my "12 pack test" with a 12 of bud, and a 12 of yuengling on different nights only a few days after quitting analogs. Once with 36mg flue cured, and once with 16mg power puff, and had no problems each time. It might have been how I was doing it though. My j118 literally never left my mouth except when to guzzle beer. Also might be that I was drinking beer. The two seem to go together fantastically. I haven't tried the "rum test" yet. I'll do that this weekend and report back. I drink rum straight, so it should be comparable to your vodka debacle (woot, got to use debacle).
I really like hilton with beer. However, the flue cured goes great with guinness. I'm not a huge candy/menthol fan though so ymmv. I'd imagine something fruity might go good with light beer or wine coolers. I'm really going to have to try the RY4 carts I got with the dura with rum though.

I doubt the FDA reads this site at all. The beauty of the truly close-minded (or set agenda) is you can't tell them anything they don't already know. It's a lot easier than actually thinking.

Ok, rum test has commenced and I have strange news to announce:

RY4 16mg pre-filled cart, Dura-C: Taste AWESOME
Midwest Vapor 36mg Hilton, emptied out and washed Dura-C cart refilled: Taste INCREDIBLE
Power Puff 16mg: Taste SOMEWHAT GOOD!
However, there's a caveat. I'm getting the nicotine from the JC. The flavors are just so sublime and understated that the intense mouth owning rum bouquet is completely overidding them. There's something unique to the hilton, RY4, PP that stands out. I can't put my finger on it. Some liquid smokey aspect. The hilton really surprised me though. I thought the RY4 would stand out more than it does, but it's very pleasant.
I will continue this important research in the name of science.
UPDATE: I think it might have been an adjustment thing because I'm pretty tore up right now, and the JC flue is really tasting incredible. Like lightyears better than the other stuff I've set up with all my batteries and atty's. Even my blessed Hilton.

Drinking and smoking have always gone hand n' hand for me as well, I have found that I like 555 and RY4 best when drinking vs fruity flavors. I have tried menthol or mint juice but don't like it, I never liked menthol cigs in the first place. I do like the 36mg when drinking and I have never had a nic headache the next day like I would with analogs.

I have had no problem tasting 18mg Coffee flavor with my 901 while drinking. Granted it doesn't taste like coffee to me, even sober, but I could still taste it just fine nonetheless.
I was so disappointed, I was puffin and puffin and puffin to no avail.. I got my nicotine fix still, but nothing like physically smoking/vaping.. I still don't get it.
When your vaping, try inhaling half of a normal drag to your mouth/back of your throat, then take a normal breath of air to fill you lungs, then exhale.
Kinda hard to describe, but thats whats closest to analog smoking for me.

Oooh, think I found a candidate for "best beer compliment" liquid today. I just got my order in from Steve at AlternaSmokes, including a bottle of caramel. I took it to the bar with me while I had lunch with a friend today, and it held up quite well through two IPAs.
The flavor is awesome, but what really won me over here was the throat hit on it. For 16mg juice, it packs one heck of a punch, and never died down while I chain vaped for about an hour over drinks.
Anything over 18ish mgs of nicotine gives me the heebie-jeebies, so I can't say whether a higher concentration of this would be better, though I expect it would. Still quite satisfying for medium/low nic juice. Recommended.

I really feel you as I`m also in big trouble with the so called "inconvenient usage" of the e-cigs. Currently still deciding how to solve my upcoming vacation as I have noticed for myself that the sands at the beach could get my PVs killed. I have discussed this with the ECF members here and still am not sure what decision to make.
Regarding vaping and drinking:
Same problem with my GF, I was so happy that she did not smoke for like a month but all of a sudden she wanted to smoke a real cigarette when we`re out at a pub with friends...and when drinking....
she was like " i really need to feel the nasty taste of the analogs " - somehow I understand her although I have found that analogs are disgusting...If I find all the tips&tricks I would never need an analog..
However regarding your post - menthol did not solve the problem ?
sorry for asking but what PV do you have.... I just got the 510 (not trying to recommend anything) and it gives a brutal throat hit.
I usually cut 18mg liquid down to 12 and when drinking I just vape
m`boro + menthol - 18mg
ry4 + menthol - 18mg
That solves it for me. However my GF would still prefer to smoke an analog while drinking. Good thing that I`m around to keep her away from them
