I was just thinking of "Dripping and Driving". The built in liquid dripper thingy doesn't really appeal to me, because it would just add to the size of the unit and be one more thing to worry about.

Does anyone know of a bottle that would open when squeezed to drip, but stay closed when laid down in the car seat? I just think it'd be cool if I didn't have to fumble with a top or worry about spilling liquid in my car.

Curtis, I use the 10ml bottles from PS ... when turned on it's side ... doesn't leak ... at least so far ... works real well for me :)

Thanks Ladycats, I have some of those too. However, I usually have some liquid hanging around outside the dropper end, and wouldn't want that getting everywhere. I guess I could just wipe it off with a towel, eh?

P.S. - Glad you approve of my "Tiny Dancer" parody. I've been thinking of putting something together for Tom Petty's "The Waiting is the Hardest Part".

Yeah i have had a lot of issues with trying to do that as well. There is really not a good solution that i have been able to find out there. I can say that carrying a small bottle to drip on the road works better than a big one.

I know that probably doesn't help much, but what can you do.

If you're willing to use carts, what about just popping on and off and renewing them. 801s, 901s and 510s stuffing side down in a little container with some liquid in the bottom for them to absorb. I know some people use a shot glass and refill their carts that way.

I've been thinking about something like it for the car. You can get little empty screw top containers in with the travel size stuff. When I figure out what sort of holder to insert for them so the carts will stay upright, I plan to at least try. Couple of the round makeup sponges is what I've been looking at. Sort of like the little nail polish removers you insert your fingers into. Anybody know if you can buy empty ones of those?

I take one of my e-cigs with the raised bridge that can be "dipped". I took a contact lens case and put some velcro on the bottom and the corresponding velcro on my dash. When I get ready to dip it is sturdy there and no risk of spillage, i just dip and keep on going.

Yeah, I have one of those cases for my Prodigy, but I plan on sticking with the 801 attys when the Prodigy gets here. Thanks dijohn.

Thanks Gibby, I think you're right.

Yeah, I've been using carts but recently switched to only dripping. Plus with the new attys not fitting the old carts and Steve not selling carts, I'm going to stick with the drip. Thank you Momof3.

LOL you go Curtis !!! Can't wait to see it !!!:D

I will go! Ha! I don't know if I can top that "GG freaks" line though.

I get the little 3ml drip bottles free with every bottle I purchase from Johnson Creek. They work great and I too use it in the car. I can tip it up side down and it does not drip out. I've never had a problem with leaking yet. I also drive pretty well with my knee but I always keep my eyes on the road. Safety first you know!

lol what we need is something like those ketchup and musturd bottles you know the ones where you just pop the lid on the hinge and squeeze.... i think its like a one way flap valve..maybe if we had one of those valves that went into a top that would end in a point to drip we might be able to get rid of a screw on cap all together.

Good idea Combo make it happen!!

lol big problem ive seen though with those bottles it takes a fair amount of force and usually it expels a lot of ketchup/mustard its not nearly as controbable as i would like it to be.
perhaps if you scaled it down and put a good tip on it ..it might work better but i like the idea of having a bottle you dont have to unscrew. and a one valve would seem to be the ideal solution.
also if you wanted to refill it you would just have to stick the tip of a bottle thru the one way tube and it wouldnt neccsitate unscrewing anything or fumbling around with a sealed dripper that pops off the top of the bottle.

Being an early adopter certainly isn't glamorous! :D
