I am super interested in dripping, BUT where do I start?? extension cap, drip sheild, atomiser, drip tip!

I am trying to shop for the right stuff, but don't want to order the wrong stuff. I plan on dripping on a sigelei. Could somebody link me the stuff I will need to build a decent dripping starter kit?

I know I sound lazy, but I've had a full cart at lest 3 times but I am reluctant to pull the trigger because I dont want to order the wrong stuff!

Heres a picture of my sigelei, so maybe you can get a color or style idea :p

If you don't want to drop $24 on a dripping atty, Liberty Flights has bridgeless SR and LR attys for $5. I like 'em, the last about a month give or take, and don't break the bank.

I know the HH's are expensive...for what they do I dont mind spending $24 a month on one...
I have a dozen Brand new Genuine Joyes and some aother assorted attys sitting in a drawer........... once you use a HH the others just dont cut it anymore-well at least for me... I think anyone who drips should at least try one...you can always go back to the inexpensive attys...

My suggestion woud be EmpireMods for an atty, drip tips, and drip shield. I pick them because they have really nice drip shields, a large variety of tips, and high quality atties at a decent price. If you get a 901 atty, you'll need a 510-901 adaptor, and if you get a 510 you'll need a 510-510 adaptor.

Does Empire mods only sell LR attys, I cant find any SR's? For VV/VW you really want a higher ohm atty--less amp draw/ lets you use the full voltage range of a VV mod..

As a 3+ year Dripping Veteran these are my favorite attys---best perfomance and flavor...
Custom HH.357 Cisco Spec Hybrid 510 Atomizer - Avid Vaper
No drip sheild needed as HH357's do not leak...for a VV/VW mod buy the 3.0 ohm ones.
Drip tips? Well you cant go wrong with a SuperT 510/901 Contoured Wide Mouth T-Tip--I do remove the tip when I drip..
Super T Manufacturing, Innovative manufacturer of electronic cigarette products.

For less than the price of a 357, you can have one of these.
A7 MINI Stainless Steel Rebuildable Atomizer Kit
Replacement wick/coils are 99 cents each.
Trust me, it will vape circles around a 357 (I have both)
It only leaks if you over fill it. The cup holds 5 drops. (so will a 357)

901 pros; better flavor and vapor. Cons; more fiddly, take less drops, more leak prone. Also less throat hit than a 510, pro or con depending on person. The drip shield was originally designed for the 901 since it leaks easily, but I use them on 510s too so I can add more drops without making a mess. Plus, they look cool lol. Only atty I don't use the DS on is my long barrel 510 HH357. A well working Cisco, Ikenvape, or EmpireMods Premium 901 is my favorite atty.

I have several high end RBA's they do work well but I just love the small form factor of a regular atty...

Someone else who I trust also recommended The best 901: EmpireMods Premium Bridge Free LR901 1.5ohm
I will get one and compare it to the HH901(when it arrives) Thanks for you help.........

That's the one I got (the EM LR901), and I love it. Once the HH357 I have dies I probably won't buy another HH again. It performs as advertised, and is easily one of the best disposable atties made. My issue is that for it to work properly you have to draw hard on it, while I prefer taking slower, lazy draws. Perfect for people who want to take short, fast pulls though.

Yeah I'm trying to find a nice drip tip, drip shield and 510-510 all in one shop so I only pay one shipping charge. Believe it or not the 510-510 is the hardest to find o_O

EmpireMods has all you need. For the 510-510 they have sealed and unsealed, I suggest the sealed. Huge selection of tips and shields. I like the look of the hex cut shields.

Drip shields are only really needed on 901 atomizers. 901 attys have the airhole on the side of the atty and if you overfill it will leak out there. The drip shield has o-rings to keep the overfill juice contained with an air hole close to the top for proper air flow. I really enjoy vaping on 901s and rarely use a drip shield...just know how much juice to use after a lot of practice.

Another great vaping set up is a 306 atty with a delrin drip tip.

I just ordered a new setup, the Killer 705 which is a rebuildable atomizer designed to be used in a carto tank...should be the ultimate atomizer setup!

As these posts show, there are many different preferences for dripping, none right or wrong, so it's good to experiment with different set-ups to find what works for you.

Atties have different characteristics as far as how airy the draw, flavor, throat hit, vapor production, heat of vape, ease of use, etc. Dripping is also easy to learn, difficult to master.

I prefer 901s and 510s, using a drip shield, and bridgeless. I've recently gave up on 306s as I have had problems with consistantly, durability, and my own inability to master them. Like I said about HH357s I find them almost perfect but don't like using the draw necessary for them to work. I've settled into a rotation of 510, 901, and dripping RBAs; it's what works best for me.
