ok i just got my new 801 pin style ( and i love it) My question is ??? What is better to top off carts , drip, or both. I have 2 attys so i set up a trial. 1 atty i only use with carts that i am topping off, the other i am using to drip.

the cart of a 801 seems to go dry on top but alwas seems wet on bottom 1/2. So far i am using A LOT more juice topping off. But if dripping kills attys faster i dont know what is cheaper replaceing attys or using more juice? Can anyone tell me?

Dripping with auto batteries is a tricky deal as pointed out above. If you do so, keep a napkin with you at all times and periodically wipe off the bottom of the atomizer and the battery. Juice in that hole will eventually kill the switch in the battery. Don't drip more than two drops on the atomizer bridge until you are comfortable with the number of draws you can take and the amount of wiping/cleaning you need to do. Lastly, try dripping down the side of the barrel. This ......s the flow of juice toward the atomizer and may work better for you. I tend to drip one drop on the atomizer bridge and one or two down the inside of the atomizer barrel.

Depends on the model and the location of the actual wick. If it's further down like 801, I just top off... but if its relatively shallow (4081), with a cart very tiny, then I just dripped mostly.

With SD, even though Trog has capped off the battery hole, so it's drip friendly - but I'm just sticking to topping off these days.

I use the classic penstyle ... when I first started I used carts, it was a bit messy , but okay .... couple weeks ago I decided to try dripping ... what a huge difference ! The taste is much more pronounced (to me), as is the vapor production, throat hit is near perfect ... and NO mess !! 3 - 4 drops works best for me .. but like someone said, if you notice liquid on the outside .. wipe off the batt end and atty end ... and next time .. go with fewer drops :) oh .. and in the 2 weeks I've been dripping ... no problems with atty ... I don't see me going back to carts .. at all ;)

What about the DSE103? The bridge sticks way out of the top of the atomizer. One of the reasons I don't use that one so much is the teeny tiny resevoir that's such a pain to top up, but I haven't tried dripping because the bridge is so high.

Does anyone drip successfully with that model?

with that kind of atomizer you are actually better off dipping rather than dripping.

Put a few drops of liquid into a cap from a bottle and dip the atomizer into the liquid. JUST THE WICK of the atomizer should go in the liquid, do not dip it so far the atomizer housing is in liquid, thats to deep.
