Er.. why not get a 306 made with a 510 connector and use the drip tip that comes with it, like here: Super electronic cigarette atomizers, Bauway 306 atomizers, this is a 3.0 ohm, they also have a 1.5 ohm for use with a 3.7 volt battery and 510 connector Super electronic cigarette atomizers, Bauway 306 atomizers, 306 atty's come in many thread sizes, there is not one 306 thread size for 306 atty's. The difference in drip tips are not that much at all. A regular drip tip for carto with a 510 thread is only slightly bigger. I dont find any problems using the drip tips that come with these 306 atty's.

However i may not be understanding your question.

I think you misunderstood my question a bit. The adapter is so i can use a drip tip made for a 510 on a 306 atty. I do have a handful of 306 drip tips but they all feel kind of cheap. Most drip tips I see for the 306 are this cheap flimsy style and and not nearly as nice or comfortable as some of the 510 tips that I have in my collection. Also to the best of my knowledge 306 attys only come in one thread size. That threading happens to be the same as a 510. Just to be clear attaching the atty to the battery is not the issue. I already have a handful of 306 attys but they are all at least 6 months old and while they still work they obviously don't hit like they used to and its time for some new ones.

Cut the top off the fake mouth piece that comes with the 306 atomizer, and cut the bottom off an old 510 atomizer/cartomizer. Then slide the 510 tube over the 306 tube. it will then fit inside a drip shield, and you can use a 510 DT.
