OK, I must admit to some trepidation regarding this post. Everyone says they love cartos (well, many say that anyway). I don't even own one.... yet.

It's almost time for the "beginning of the month purchase" and I'm looking, yet again, at cartos. I would like to use a drip tip to refill, but that is not 100% required. I use a mod 510 setup, with 3.7 volts or a 5v 510 direct passthrough.

I skipped a purchase last month, watching the e2-rev 4 stuff. Users are still recommending performing micro-surgery just to get em to work. Now I see posts on rev 5, and modding them (lol... I think someone is running a big joke on us). I'm still not sure I understand why I have to purchase these things and then rip the guts out (that the manufacturer spent time and money installing) just to get em to work. But, OK. Now, what do I purchase for my setup:

1) I have a 510 drip tip
2) e-juice and syringes
3) 510 3.6/3.7 volt mods, and 5V PT

would like:

4) cartos that I only have to refill every 20 drops or so (unlike atties every 3)
5) might as well use the drip tip to refill (unless that's worse.... can use syringes)
6) Absolutely no burning material inside (I will keep them wet).

Too much, sometimes conflicting, information in the mega-threads. Sorry about asking what would be a common question, but I really have info-overload here. Does this exist yet? Wait more?

P.S. This post is interesting but lacks detail as to make/model of carto.

I use a drip tip on regular 510 and lr cartomizers. Its easier to keep topped off and as long as its good and wet they last longer and taste better. btw i started using a drip tip on cartomizers because the lr ones burnt my lips.

So what model carto is that? Is there a "regular" cartomizer? What ones fit a drip tip best?

Well if you don't want any material inside or filler ur only option would be the ce2... If u purhcase the 3.0 ohm u should b fne at 3.7v 5v would be to much fr theses cartos and the tend to run a little hot..

I don't care if there is material inside, I just don't want it to burn.

Personally, the LR 510 Boges are a perfect fit. I use them on my eGo, they run 2.0ohm and my drip tips fit perfectly in them. Keep them wet, you got no issues. The soft cap comes out super easy and they will hold 30+ drops. Vaping bliss. :) I've run them on my 5v PT as well, and like I said, keep them wet, no problems. I get them from litecig although you may be able to find them other places as well.

Boge Cartomizers

I love the boge cartomizers. They hold 25-30 drops, and I have never had burning filler unless I let them go dry. I have tried most of the carto's available, and every one I have tried, but these, has ended up with premature burning (like 5-10 drags into it). I am not 100% certain, but it seems to me like the boge's wick better than the others.

To refill, simply pop the rubber cap off (can be done with a paperclip, pen, or fingernail, with some practice) and drip right from your juice bottle onto the filler. No syringes, or condom fill method to deal with. Just drip until it starts leaking out the bottom.

Yes. All of this. :) Except I don't let it drip out the bottom. I just watch the filler, and when it stops sinking in, I stop dripping. :) Oh, and I leave the cap out and put in a drip tip. And I get them at Litecig with the lower resistance.

are litecigs the same as cigtech's? I have tried other supposed "boge" cartomizers and have had problems with them, so I am hesitant to order from another supplier

Yep, the same...but there ARE two types at Litecig. The standards, which is what I believe yours are and the lower resistance. They aren't super low, just low enough to make a bit of a tighter draw as well as more/slightly warmer vapor. I've used them all...these are the best. :)

excellent, thank you. It seems like every time I need more cartos, cigtech is out of stock. I use the standards, they do well at 5.5 volts. I could drop my voltage and use the LR's to get the same affect, but that would shorten my battery life.

I like Nhalers LR 2.0 Ohm Mega carto and ProVape carries the same thing in a 1.8 ohm. Both vertical element cartos and both produce a clean vape. I refill these many times and like other cartos they do last longer and vape better with thinner juices

Pretty sure those vendors are both using the Boges as well. I don't get as many refills when I use high VG juices, but still, several refills and MY GOD, the vapor! Wow!

Thank you everyone!!! I just have these visions of "burnt carto horror pics - Halloween style".... Sounds like the Boge Cartos are the way to go right now tho.

nickf41680 ... NP. I was just clarifying. No need to apologize. I may check ceramics too, but everyone seems to be complaining about them. So IDK.

Not true. You could get a genuine joye 510 carto. They have no filler and are way better IMO than the finicky ce2...

If your looking for BOGE or SLB go to litecig.com. They have the fastest shipping I've ever had from any purchase ever in my life ever... for $2!!! Them and cignot are my favorite hardware vendors. If your going to get a genuine joytech carto hit up freedomsmokeusa.com. Then you can get some of the best juice in the world as well :D

This is a decent thread. I saw another where they had pictures. My old difficulty with these is they are long and they are even worse than the ce2 to refill.
