Drip tip help!

Good day to all and HAPPY THANKSGIVING!

I'm about to get my first "drip tip" (not ghonoreah...haha) and wondered if anyone could give me some help on using it. I dont want to use it incorrectly and wind up with juice in my mouth or my shirt stained (cause sometimes i carry my 510 in my pocket) Is it messy or will it be a snap to use.

I've been using a pawn drip tip I purchased from Liquidxpress. I don't drip, but have found that using it with my cartomizers has completely eliminated the occasional leaks I used to get, making my vaping experience much more pleasant. They are a snap to put on and take off. For fear of accidental leakage I put the original carto cap back on when carrying my eGo in my purse. I do this more as a precaution rather than as a result of having experienced leakage.

Clean atty, 3 drops, vape til flavor is gone, add a drop as needed, repeat. If your atty leaks or gurgles, you have too much juice and need to blow your atty out and try again. If you taste atty or you aren't getting vapor your atty is dry and you need to add a drop or two.
Enjoy and never look back. So much better than carts and cartos, even Mrs. Doctor Vapenstein agrees.

It can be messy if your just beginning! I;d recommend practicing at home for a while. Don't carry it in your shirt at first. (the ego's cone is a good safety feature for leakage).

It took me almost two weeks of trying to really get the hang of dripping. My advice to you is to try a thicker juice, something with a higher ratio of VG. I found that the Velvet Vapors blend juices are a little thicker than other juices I've ordered, so that is the juice I like to use when dripping. When I try to drip 80pg/20vg, it seems to drip right through to the battery connection, even if I try to be very skimpy with the amount of drops. VV has a sample packs, which makes it easy to try their juices without committing to a huge bottle you may end up hating. Velvet Vapors - Home When I placed my first order, they threw in a free sample of Bear Claw, and that has become my favorite for dripping. I also splurged on stainless steel drip tips from Super T, they were worth every penny.

It'll definitely be a snap to use--there's nothing simpler on God's green Earth than a drip tip.

As for messiness, you're going to be dealing with a certain amount of that when using a 510:

Problem 1: depending on the tip you've bought, there's a possibility of tasting unatomized juice. Some have openings that are just plain too small, and juice gets trapped near the point of entry. When I've had tips like that, I've minimized the problem by holding the PV at a slight angle and dripping down the sidewalls rather than down the center of the opening (the way beer is poured to avoid creating too much foam).

Much more convenient is to use one of these, which have large, funnel-shaped openings: Super T Manufacturing, Innovative manufacturer of electronic cigarette products.

Problem 2: It's important to keep your atty wet with juice at all times; if in doubt, err on the side of too much juice. Where the problem comes in is that there's nothing to prevent juice from leaking out the atty/battery connector. Sooner or later--probably sooner--you'll have a handful of juice.

It's a good idea to keep Kleenex handy--especially at first, but as long as you're using a 510. When/if you decide to move on to another type of PV, consider an eGo/Riva type; the cone works great to contain spills, keep the out of sight, mind and hand until you remove the cone and are prepared to deal with the mess inside.

I'm having a same problem with you,so I ordered translucent Drip Tip for 306 atty yesterday.
