Drip Tip Vapor Lock

Do any of you drippers get vapor lock? What I mean by this is that sometimes after taking a hit, I can look down into the drip tip and see vapor trapped inside. If I am not paying attention to this, then the next time I drip it doesn't go all the way to the atty and sits on top of the vapor. Then, when I inhale, I get a big wet mouthful of juice. If I pay attention and either inhale the little bit of vapor or give a small quick puff, then I don't have problem with the juice. Anyone else notice this? I use a Delrin T-tip.

Yep. I had that problem too. I was using a generic Delrin drip tip. I have since replaced it with a Delrin Wide Mouth T-Tip Drip Tip I got from VaporHeads.

Well, I got my wide-mouth Delrin tips from Super T. I am thinking I might go for the stainless steel, but I am afraid I might have the same issue.

I have the 801 shorty and depending how the drop hits and viscosity of the liquid, it often is held in suspension. I couple of finger flicks before inhaling after dipping usually take scare of it. After a while the ritual becomes second nature.

Yes, Same issue here with 510 s/steel tips.

Easy solution:

After you've dripped, just give a short sharp blow into the attached tip from a distance of about 2 inches, this will blow all the juice into the atty nicely.
