Was looking at the drip shields from empiremods.com.. Would I need an adapter?

And when using one of these drip shields.. does the draw from my (306) atomizer get affected at all? i love how the 306 draws and really don't want to mess with that.. but I hate how my atomizer leaks from my Silver Bullet

thanks

edit: whoops meant drip shield!

Are you talking about the Dripshield by any chance? I've used a 306 on my Omega with the Dripshield and did not find any difference in the draw other than the fact that it contained any leaking. It definitely "makes" it for me. If you do find the draw a bit tight, you can expand the little vent hole on the Dripshield to let in more air.

did you need an adapter at all? or like an extra large 306 drip tip or anything?

You do need an adapter to raise the level of where the atty connects to the battery. This is so that the bottom o-ring of the dripshield sits below the atty to catch and then consequently feed back your juice into the atomizer. You will also need an XL driptip for the 306, as the dripshield is slightly longer than a 510 atty (size comparison).
