The thing I ordered was in-stock, ready to ship, and it was so inexpensive, it seemed ridiculous to pay $5 to ship something that cost less than half that -- a brass-toned Chi You kick ring. At 4wks and 5wks I was getting frantic, but then I read in one of the FT threads that the free shipping could take 30-60 days, so I just tried to forget about it. I got it in 6wks+1 day.

In the past I've had much better luck with shipping from Hong Kong, but I *just* got an order that was shipped Mar 11 -- 24 days; previously my orders from them took only about 10 days, even one shipment with a battery that took only 13 days. But considering I also *just* got an order that was ordered from NEW YORK on Mar 19, not shipped till the 23rd, I guess 3 wks+3days from HK isn't so bad! That Flushing NY USPS is the pits! The orders I got so promptly from HK entered the US via Florida, and even with FL's crappy USPS, they did a much better job than Flushing, NY!

PS: Thursday I got an order that I ordered from HAWAII! late last Saturday afternoon -- shipped on Monday, so it got to me in 3 days -- and it takes nearly TWO WEEKS from NEW YORK! That's just plain pitiful.

I remember back in mid 2013 a T4 clearo order took 7 days from HK to Buenos Aires. 7 days in total! They must be swamped or delivering snail mail.
